“Acuna” has been a main stay at our house since he was a three-year-old. We have used him for everything on the ranch; doctoring, branding, sorting, you name it! He has even chased buffalo. He does whatever you ask of him, hot or cold. I have hauled and won on him in both the heading and the heeling to numerous jackpots and World Series ropings. If you are looking for one to start winning on now, here is your horse. He is also started in the breakaway. If you are looking for a trail horse, you would be riding the prettiest one on the trail with this guy. He is very easy to get along with. He crosses water, bridges, or whatever you point him at. He is broke well enough that you can even do most jobs bridleless. This is a chance to own an extremely beautiful horse that has the brains and experience to go with it. He is the perfect size and age to do whatever you want with him.

“Drifter” is a quiet, gentle, attractive gelding that has seen all the ranch chores. Well-started in the team roping. He is a handy-sized gelding that the whole family can ride. He has a bright future as a ranch, rope, or trail horse.

Have been hauling “Jack” for 2 years heeling. He is extremely easy to handle in all aspects: shoeing, hauling, and in the box. Has been roped on all winter in Arizona with Riley Curuchet. Great heel and ranch horse. Will fit lower numbered ropers very well. Gentle for anyone.

“Kit Kat” is a special five-year-old with plenty of eye appeal. We have owned him since he was a baby and he has been a big part of our family. We have used him at the sale bring pushing and sorting cattle, and we have sorted load after load of yearlings in the pens. In the arena, “Kit Kat” has been heading and heeling steers; he shows a lot of ability and promise to go on and be a standout. Lots of riding for his age, loads of talent, and best of all: fancy-broke to ride! It’s not often you get a chance at a homeraised gelding in the prime of his life—don’t miss him! Sound and gentle with no vices. Call Mike with any questions.

“Pockets” is handy as the pockets on your shirt. Real movey, super cowy, and can drag his tail, which is no surprise if you take a look at his papers. The perfect size. Breakaway, heel and ranch horse.

Have a look here, guys. We have never been so proud of a gelding. His name says it all, “Special.” Home-grown baby. We own and have competed on the dam and sire to this beautiful horse. A fifteen-year-old man broke this colt to ride. We ranch on him—rope and doctor cattle outside. Finished head horse. He has it all! 100% sound, 100% gentle.

We are very proud to offer “Whiskey” for sale to the public! “Whiskey” is out of a AAA producing dam and by the great FIRE ON BUG (FIRE WATER FLIT). “Whiskey” has been our go-to guy and has had a ton of exposure in and out the arena. Easy to be around, good feet and bone, and a willing demeanor, making him an easy choice when picking out a horse in the morning! He is the same horse every time you saddle him; broke, light-sided, neck rains, and carries himself like a horse twice his age! He has been branded on, shipped cattle, sorted in the pasture; there’s nothing you can’t do horseback that he hasn’t done. He will go all day at whatever speed you want with a level head. “Whiskey” has been started in the heading and breakaway and has been hauled to town in the barrels. On track to futurity in the roping and barrels or use him on the ranch to get any job done. Good to shoe, clip, and haul. No buck. Diamond Classic, Breeder’s Challenge, Future Fortunes, Triple Crown 100, Select Stallion Stakes, Colorado Classic, VGBRA, Cornhusker, and Gridiron Futurity eligible.

FAMILY HORSE! “Leo” is one of those horses with an agreeable attitude about life in general. We hand-picked him out of Cee Heart Quarter Horses’ herd as a yearling. Our son, Connor, has done most of the training on him and Leo has been his main go-to ranch horse for the last few years. We have used him for everything on the ranch, as well as, carried flags in parades, flagged rodeos, given rides to guests, and even showed in the local 4-H horse show. We’ve also been using him in the arena as a practice rope horse for the last year. He has a good work ethic, he’s easy to have around, he’s steady, dependable, and kind. We can’t say enough about his disposition. You don’t get a chance at a horse like this very often!

“Penny” is a shapy mare currently being used checking pastures, riding sale barns, and general ranch work. She has been roped off of outside and has an “up for anything” type attitude. She stops, backs, walks, trots, lopes, sides passes, works gates, and is very cowy. She’s a nice, smooth mover with all the right conformation. If you’re looking for a rope horse prospect or good ranch/using horse, she would be a good fit!

307-746-5690

“Boo” is all hoss! He’s bred similar to Abi’s great all around mare that passed last year and has the same speed. Good luck finding his highest gear - we haven’t yet. Has the athleticism to go with it and you just can’t draw one any prettier. He heads - heels good for a horse his size - and is an awesome pickup horse. “Boo” is all there. Go buy yourself a bigger cinch and ride a real one.

We’ve had “Freckles” for three years. He is mainly ridden by my wife and kids. He’s a talented horse to rope on and will really watch a cow. He’s never been cinchy or bucked. Easy to ride and safe for almost anyone. A super good-minded gelding that has been proven and can be used for anything. Would make a good family horse but sure has the performance and cow to make a nice rope horse. For more information call Travis Krein.

“Skeeter” is truly a one-of-a-kind gelding! Not only is “Skeeter” gorgeous, but he is also extremely gentle and kind! He has been used extensively on the ranch and loves his job. He has roped, doctored ton of cattle outside, and drug calves to the fire. He is very cowy and is a lot of fun to ride. “Skeeter” is very athletic with a great handle on him. Absolutely anyone can get along with this horse! They don’t come any more honest and gentle than “Skeeter!” Easy to catch, load, and shoe.

“Cookie” is a fancy-bred gelding that has spent time in the feedyard, as well as many hours outside prowling and doctoring cattle. Super athletic. Started in both heading and heeling. Find videos of him on YouTube under JAYCEE SLICK N BOOTS.

“Purple” is a classy, stout, home-raised gelding. He was born to one of our own mares that is very proven. He has been extensively used for everything on the ranch including branding, sorting, trailing cattle, and doctoring and loading cows and bulls. He has been ridden in very rough, timbered country, as well as the Wyoming grasslands. You will see our children, Kaylee (10) and Kase (8), riding him. He stands for saddling and grooming, loads and trailers well. He has tuned steers in the arena, been heeled on, and the kids enjoy tracking cattle on him. Turn him out, he will be the same horse when you get him back in. He is a very nice, gentle gelding that is beautiful to boot! Contact Will for more videos.

Perfect prospect right here! “Nelly” has a great foundation put on her. She was halter broke, saddled, and had her first ride put on her all in the same day with no fuss or fight. This mare is a go with the flow type of horse and tries her best with whatever you throw at her. She’s been to some state parks on the trails and has been working in the sale barns. She’s a great project horse to take in any direction and finish. “Nelly” walks, trots, lopes, backs, and side passes.

“Muffin” is a gentle, talented, young gelding with loads of potential. I showed and placed on him at the Farmers & Ranchers Futurity. He’s spent time in the starter yard, as well as on the ranch doing all the outside work. He’s started in the heading, heeling, and breakaway.

“Brisby” is a ranch horse deluxe. Been there and done that for all your ranching needs; from dragging calves to doctoring calves by yourself. He’s coming along nicely in the breakaway and heeling and is started nicely in the tiedown. “Brisby” has the shape, size, and attitude to do it all. He was started with a perfect foundation to go on and be someone’s #1 guy! This is a hard one for us to let go; if only we could keep them all! Find pictures & videos of “Brisby” at Mdiamond Quarter Horses on Facebook.

“Peach” AKA “Bad Assaloopa” is a fan favorite around the Deveraux residence, hence his acquired nickname. He gets noticed everywhere he goes. Hauled to all the jackpots and rodeos in the heading. Heels & breakaways, too! A great ranch horse to boot.
