When it comes to fashion, everybody loves talking about those classic, timeless, and essential pieces. They fit everyone well, they are comfortable and safe, and are also good investments. Of course, it is good to know how to build a nice wardrobe, how to wear our garments; but beyond this, being in timeless in terms of fashion is a fascinating phenomenon that deserves to be discussed in greater depth.

7 Tips For Buying Sneakers You just bought an awesome pair of sneakers, thinking you got a good price then realized your friend got an even better deal. You won’t be over-spending again with these 7 tips.
Sneakers have become design icons in their own right. Adidas, Puma and Nike each have their own stores across the world, and crank out models convincing fashion-victim could easily shake credit cards at. Adidas recently teamed with iconic fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto to create Y-3, a new line of dress-up sneakers. Stella McCartney also has her own Adidas line.
Tip 1: Timing Is Everything Many retailers automatically increase prices during popular shopping times and times of higher demand. Prices tend to be higher especially around noon and in the evening. Prices will almost always go up on the weekend and, of course, before festive seasons such as Christmas. It’s worth it to keep an eye on pricing so you buy when the time is right!
Tip 2: Remain Unseen Many retailers use cookies and track IP addresses to follow your behavior. Some even increase the price on products that you look at more often. They do this to pressure customers into buying before there’s another price increase. In this case, you should set your browser to private mode while shopping. It doesn’t matter if you love Under Armour more than any other sneaker brand in the world – it might not offer the right shoe for your foot, your fit, or your style. When shopping for sneakers, commit to trying on several different brands. You might be surprised to learn that the shoe that fits you best is actually from a brand you’ve never tried before.
Tip 3: Subscribe To Newsletters Merchants often entice new subscribers with generous discounts. Just subscribe to the newsletter and you’ll receive a discount voucher. You can always unsubscribe, so you can save money easily with just a few clicks! Savvy savers even use multiple email addresses to cash in on more discounts.
Tip 4: Student Discounts Often students get great discounts when they buy online. Just register with your university’s e-mail address and get proven discounts of up to 30% when you shop.
Tip 5: Be Sure To Buy The Right Shoe Size The most expensive sneakers are the ones you bought and aren’t wearing! Studies suggest that up to 17% of all shoes purchased are only worn a few times because they simply do not fit. This is especially true if you buy shoes online; you can’t try them on. Sizes vary a lot from brand to brand, so be sure you convert the length of your foot into the correct size. Feet grow and change over time, and factors like weight gain or weight loss, pregnancy, and lowerbody injury can all contribute to changes in foot size.
Tip 6: Voucher codes No matter how long it takes, just know you can get whatever you want if you hold your cash until the voucher codes through, because a hot, highly coveted shoe to you will most likely remain that way for awhile. Another cool thing about waiting is that it all but eliminates falling victim to hype and suffering buyer’s remorse. Voucher codes are a perfect way to save a few bucks. Just search online for the respective store or brand’s voucher codes, then enter the code during checkout.
TIP 7: Kid Sizes Sharp bargain hunters who have a small shoe size check out the children’s section when they buy sneakers. You can find really nice sneakers here, often to size 10; they’ve just been “declared” kid sizes. There can be a price difference of up to $50. Not sure whether the kids shoe size would fit you? Convert the length of your foot into the correct size by using free tools like: https://www.blitzresults.com/en/sneaker
Sneakers are probably the most important items in a wardrobe. As interesting as it may be, you can’t jog in the same shoes you go to the office. If you don’t have good options physically, figure out the boutiques you know that do pre-order purchases and build around what you’re willing to pay, based on their prices. It’s important to have at least one pair of sneakers handy each time you go out. Whether you plan going to the woods with friend or family, or simply you go to the local shop to buy something for the house, they are the first choice since they are light and very easy to put on. Usually, sneakers go well with most jeans and other casual pants. However, if you think you can wear sneakers with your business meeting suit, think again.
How to Clean Your Jewelry People have a piece of jewelry that they wear every day or never even take off. Most jewelry has a special meaning which leads to everyday wear – so what can you do when it gets dirty? Jewelry is expensive, and you want to keep it looking just as amazing as the day you bought it. The good news is that you can keep your jewelry sparkling and shine with things you already have at home. Getting it professionally cleaned can be time consuming and pricey. For maintenance purposes, always take off all your jewelry before working out, showering, swimming and anything involving a body of water or activities that promote excess sweat. It can be daunting to take off and on jewelry that is worn every day but preventing it from being exposed to any type of liquid will enhance the durability of the jewelry. There is no need for expensive jewelry cleaners to maintain your jewelry. A little time & getting the
right ingredients together is all that is necessary to ensure that your diamonds shine. It is best to use a mild soap, i.e. dish soap or baby shampoo. One should rinse the fine piece of jewelry under lukewarm water while using a toothbrush and mild soap to gently scrub away any dirt particles that have built up. Allow the jewelry to dry on a paper or bath towel for a few hours. This method is very effective and will not damage your jewelry at all. Clean your jewelry at least once a month to ensure a clean appearance as well as longevity for the jewelry. Most people use ammonia to clean their floors, but it also works well to clean diamonds without harming them. Take the fourth cup of ammonia and one full cup of warm water and mix them in a jar or a bowl.
Place your diamonds into the jar or bowl and allow them to sit for about 15 minutes. After your jewelry soaks, take a soft-bristled toothbrush and gently scrub the jewelry to remove any grime that remains. Make sure to get into the setting and crevices on the piece because grime and dirt can stick in these areas. After you are done the cleaning, just rinse the piece with plain water and use a soft cloth to dry it completely. Vinegar can clean just about anything, but it is especially great for gemstones and gold. You want to use white vinegar and not any other kind, so make a note of this. Just pour white vinegar into a jar or a bowl and use enough to cover the jewelry you are cleaning completely. Allow your jewelry to soak for about 15 minutes and move it around every couple of minutes to agitate it. Once it is done soaking, take a softbristled toothbrush and gently scrub your jewelry to remove residue and stuck on grime. Rinse with plain water and then dry it completely. Toothpaste is a very effective jewelry cleaner, and this is a great option when you want to clean up your jewelry on the go. Take a tablespoon of warm water and an inch of toothpaste and mix these together for a loose paste. Boiling jewelry is also an effective method. Not all jewelry can be boiled, such as delicate gemstones, but solid gold can be. Make sure that nothing is glued on and that the gold is not cold before putting it into boiling water. This is best left for those pieces that are not cleaned by anything else. Place your jewelry into a bowl and slowly pour the boiled water over it and keep pouring very slowly until the jewelry is fully covered by the water. Allow this to sit until the water cools and then gently scrub each piece with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Dry thoroughly once you are done.
Aluminum Foil Tarnished silver jewelry responds well to aluminum foil. It is the perfect way to clean silver at home. Take a tray and line it with a clean piece of foil and then spread your jewelry out on the tray. Take some baking soda and sprinkle it onto each piece of jewelry so that each piece of mildly coated. Next, boil a few cups of water and then gently pour this onto the jewelry with the baking soda on them. Use this technique together with a good homemade jewelry cleaner and your silver will shine again.
Good old-fashioned soap and water works well on jewelry like it does on everything else to remove dirt and grime. This is ideal for stones that are porous and soft, such as turquoise or pearls. Simply combine two cups of warm water and about three drops of gentle laundry detergent or dish soap. Quickly dip the jewelry into the solution and then use a soft cloth to gently wipe and dry your jewelry. Before storing your jewelry, make sure to allow it to air dry for the day because you want it completely dry first. There is always the commercial alternative by using a great jewelry cleaner.

ALLURING LINGERIE BY ADINA REAY
With no previous experience in the fashion industry, the Founder of Adina Reay, Sharon Lake, set the brand up after being fed up with the lack of choice and imagination in the Fuller Bust market. Sharon gathered a small team of committed lingerie experts to help bring her vision to life, and set about disrupting the industry with the message that fit shouldn’t compromise or dictate how you look and feel. To this day the label is run as a passion project with the same small team. Adina Reay is fiercely proud to be an independent brand opening up a new aspirational sector within the DD+ market. The brand was created with the express aim of breaking all the rules repeatedly applied to fuller bust lingerie. Shopping for a bra, when you have big breasts, tends to be about being told what you can’t have, what you must wear. We hate that. We talked to Sharon to learn more about her lingerie story, top tips, target audience and company progress.
A
dina Reay is the lingerie label to know. Beautiful, alluring and absolutely timeless, this British label was established by Sharon Lake and she definitely knows how to deal in the luxury and the sublime.
Many a buyer and famous face have recognized this too, as you can shop the collection at top tier retailers globally such as Net-a-Porter, Harvey Nichols, Bare Necessities and Journelle, and spot on the likes of Ashley Graham who has been seen donning the brand on the red carpet. So here’s what they offer: slimmer straps, narrower backs and sides, and much less invasive coverage. And to top it off the cutting edge designs are out-there fabulous, because they’re set out to prove that couture luxury lingerie really isn’t limited by cup size.
How did your company first come about? We launched Adina Reay in 2013, born out of a desire to create lingerie in DD+ that we really wanted to wear. I had always loved lingerie, but as a DD+ from my 20’s I was frustrated with the lack of options available. Born from this frustration and disbelief, we started Adina Reay. A clear vision of what lingerie should be in larger cup sizes – to challenge existing conventions on how fuller cup lingerie could look and fit. A brand created in collaboration with a team of lingerie experts, each with decades of experience working with the UK’s most respected brands and retailers. It’s tricky to buy lingerie, what are your top tips? Communication. If buying online get in touch with the retailer, ask advice, return anything you don’t love. On the high street find a store where you feel comfortable. We work with some amazing independents who can make you feel a million dollars. Think of it like your hairdresser, if you get a good one you look forward to going, you value their advice but ultimately, they ensure you leave with what you want. Describe the Adina Reay brand in three words... Contemporary, innovative, sensual.
Tell us about the timeless shapes and the materiality of your pieces... The brand uses the highest quality laces, embroideries, silks, and tulles to craft collections that are free from fuss and frills, allowing the directional cuts and quality finishes to shine through. The styles are developed to fit the whole size range without making alterations to strap widths, cups or wing depths. So, the bra you see in 28DD really is the same bra you get in 38G. Which is your favorite everyday set and why? I’ve never really got the concept of everyday lingerie. There is something empowering about wearing lingerie you love no matter what you are doing. The ‘Fran’ is a definite favorite, the ‘Fran short’ is super comfy but looks amazing. We spend as much time designing our briefs as we do on our bras, they have to be comfortable. There is no point in having great looking lingerie if you don’t enjoy wearing it. Who is the Adina Reay target audience? I met an amazing buyer who once told me that she plans her outfit around her lingerie. Adina Reay is for those of us with a full bust that would like to do the same.
Who is the Adina Reay target audience? I met an amazing buyer who once told me that she plans her outfit around her lingerie. Adina Reay is for those of us with a full bust that would like to do the same. How would you like your company to progress in the next 5-years? We’d like to offer capsule swimwear and outerwear collections and to build a small but far-reaching network of independent retailers to work alongside us.
TIMELESS ART FEATURING MARCEL KATZ
As the name suggests, he’s most certainly plugged into the scene and brings in his artists into his world too (he’s also digitally plugged in, having over a million followers across his various networks). Tenacious with good taste, his entrepreneurial too, a force to be reckoned with on the modern art landscape. Under The Art Plug umbrella and alongside the fine arts publisher Monsieur Marcel, Marcel Katz Art helps to form a conglomerate of interconnected artbased companies. All three entities provide a range of services and experiences related to the art-industry, all with a personalized touch so he has you well as truly covered.
M
arcel Katz who also goes by The Art Plug and Monsieur Marcel is really challenging the way we think and trade contemporary art. Not only is he the youngest person to have dealt a Salvador Dali at 30 only years old (wow), but he’s also the founder of Marcel Katz Art, a dealership and online gallery based in Miami with offices in Los Angeles and Nagoya, Japan. Offering over 70 artists - both established and emerging artists, his roster includes the likes of Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Mr. Brainwash and Jeff Koons to new talents such as CB Hoyo and Paul Fauves. And it’s not just paintings, he trades in all mediums from sculptures and photography to limited edition prints.
We interviewed Marcel about his journey through the art world, love for the industry, his inspirations, and the first few artists that he signed onto his roster of creatives around the world.
How did you first get into the art world? I have been surrounded by art my entire life with artistic friends and family. I wasn’t ever naturally artistically inclined in the traditional sense but always had a keen eye for good art and the ability to discover and connect those who had talent. My career in art started in my previous work in the nightlife industry. I started off working in the nightlife world here in Miami shortly after graduating college. I started off as a promoter and worked my way up to the Creative Director position at Opium Group, a popular hospitality group based in Miami. To distinguish ourselves from other clubs on South Beach, I began collaborating with some artists on developing art installations and experiential programming at our venues for guests to enjoy. Through these collaborations, I began developing relationships and friendships with artists, collecting some of their works. Little by little, I transitioned out of nightlife and began creating The Art Plug brand. Over time, I realized nightlife wasn’t creatively sustainable for me and sought a new direction in the art world. The art business was a foreign world to me, but I hustled and figured it out as I went. I fell in love with the business and slowly built a respectable collection. When I wanted to start to sell some of the work, I decided to start Marcel Katz Art, an art dealership. Over the last few years, I’ve since created The Art Plug Agency, where I represent a large roster of artists and coordinate various projects; Monsieur Marcel, a lifestyle
brand/publishing company I use to create collaborations with artists; and, The Art Plug Powerhouse, my own art fair. I’ve gained a lot of momentum over the last few years that’s gotten me to where I am now. I’ve gotten access to artists from all over the globe. I notably became the youngest Salvador Dali dealer in the world at the age of 30. And I’ve added dozens of artists to my agency that I represent for commercial work, exhibitions, and other events. What is it about the industry that you love so much? The art industry is incredible, unlike anything else. What I love the most is the sense of unlimited possibilities — anything can be interpreted as art, it comes in every shape, size, form, medium. There is nothing that can’t be done. Art can be applicable to any field — in any given day, I can discuss designing the interior of homes and other buildings to creating innovative experiences in transportation or live performances. There is a mentality that “anything goes” that I am attracted to. Although there are perhaps certain standards in niches of the industry, in general, there are no rules when it comes to creating art. Working in creative spaces has also allowed me to
interact with people who think differently, outside the box. Overall, the art industry breathes and creates a sense of freedom that I love. Day to day, I feel like the whole world is my canvas — I can do and create anything I want. That’s a powerful feeling that I want to feel every day. Which was the first artist you signed? The first few that I remember working with are CB Hoyo, a brilliant painter; Rhymezlikedimez, a super talented animator & illustrator from Belgium; and, Aholsniffsglue, a popular Miami graffiti artist.
“I want to be part of history. I want my kids to read about me in history books. I’m chasing achievements, not money. I want to break out of the system. I want to create my own reality. I’m inspired by the freedom to do whatever I want. The freedom to be able to think of anything and turn it into a reality is very inspiring.” - Marcel

We interviewed Steohanie about her love for fashion, favorite inspirations, and how she structures her creative life with work.
Has fashion blogging always been your career plan? II had always planned to work with my degree as a lawyer or something along that line, however, I decided to give fashion blogging a try as it has always been my first love. I previously worked as a fashion advisor in a high brand retail and truly enjoyed helping the client style their look so I thought why not start up a blog sharing my thoughts on how to style a look.
As I continued blogging I realized you don’t always have to shop all the time to create a look, a good stylist can always recreate a fresh look with an old outfit. You know the saying ‘its not what you wear but how you wear it’ this is now my new motto.

Helping men understand the importance of skin health, nutrition, and making the connection between looking good, feeling confident and achieving results at work and in life is the mission of Organic Male OM4 CEO and Founder, Mike Bruggeman. When doing research for Organic Male, Mike recognized two emerging industry trends (1) a shift in the baby boomers’ interest in combating aging and the blurring of gender lines and the dissipating fear that using products somehow erodes masculinity. Driven by these two trends, he set out on a risky course to transform a fledgling industry by launching the first comprehensive skin type and condition-specific line formulated exclusively for the biological differences in male skin. Until the launch of Organic Male OM4 in 2010, men’s skin care products could only be found as add-on secondary options to the most popular shaving brands or repurposed and re-packaged women’s products from any of the global women’s brands.
