Martin and Aline Parsons started combining interesting ingredients on the Aga at the family home of Womersley Hall in Yorkshire in 1979. Their creations soon proved to be real winners... Womersley vinegars surprise first time tasters by exciting the taste buds in a way not usually associated with vinegar. Hence the rare appraisal from Great Taste Award judges, who described Womersley vinegars as “drop dead gorgeous.” The recipes have always been made using almost exclusively natural ingredients and are cooked in small batches by hand. The recipes were created with advice and help from chefs, a practice which persists today.

Amy Brown established Mister Berwyn in July 2016. Amy's love of colour, nature and interiors led her to launch Mister Berwyn and create playful homeware.

Amy illustrates the designs for Mister Berwyn, each design is originally hand painted with gouache. Having previously worked as a character designer Amy is a stickler for detail and loves creating cohorts of different characters that somehow sit together harmoniously.
