Our Mission is to create the most sustainable, equitable, and economical garments in the world. Our process starts with the seed. We use single source e3 cotton seeds. They require far less water, reduce CO2, are gentle for the soil, and support US farmers. We then convert the e3 cotton into our next generation Ring Optic yarn. Our Ring Optic yarn is then knit into high quality made in USA fabric. Finally all of our garments are sewn in our Los Angeles factory. From seed to farm to fabric to sew, General Standard has set a new standard for US-made, sustainable garments.

Third-party verified A cotton supply vetted by independent auditors, Wakefield Inspections and STEP, allows our farmers to focus on producing the highest yielding cotton with the most sustainable practices in the farming industry. Through our digital platform, MyFarms, e3 sustainable cotton information is converted using tools managed by independent scientists into multiple different sustainability measures including: Soil Conservation & Fertility Management, Irrigation Water Use, Water Quality, Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Energy Use & Conservation, Pesticide Management & Usage, Identity Preservation, Worker Health & Safety Soil Carbon and Biodiversity.
THE SUSTAINABLE COTTON FUND Unlike the current Cotton Counsels which charges farmers additional fees per year for marketing the “cotton” brand, BASF and e3 have chosen to put money directly back into the farmers hands. e3 cotton provides a “give -back’ for each bale of e3, sustainable cotton that is harvested. • •
