TGIF funds interns for summer 2013. Companies pay for interns for future summers. CITRIS Provides training curriculum for interns.

Informational Outreach and Education:
Champions will develop reflections on how their training has helped them to gain jobs in sustainability. This will help further the cause and support the original goal of the project.

Semester Training The Champions will be trained by CITRIS in their respective summer job topic areas. Semester training will include completion of a task that will repeated during the summer in order to assist the interns with asking critical questions about the job for which they are training. Semester training will cover the following areas: • Sustainable farm assessment: Working to evaluate the efficacy of sustainably sourcing foods. • Energy efficiency in buildings: Working to implement new energy efficiency standards in buildings. • Social outreach and sustainability marketing: How do we get people to buy sustainable products? • Sustainable office and laboratory assessment: In an energy efficient workplace, how does one operate?
