The ASUC Sustainability Team (STeam) is proud to sponsor and organize UC Berkeley's Annual Earth Week festival. From engaging in discussions on ecological issues to learning about innovative ways to implement a sustainable lifestyle, STeam seeks to bring environmental awareness to the public in hopes of inspiring change. Each year we collaborate with environmental organizations on campus, non-profit groups, local green businesses, and other UC Berkeley campus affiliations to coordinate a week of education, entertainment, and more.
Earth Week is an annual event that takes place during the week of Earth Day, April 22nd. It focuses on both an awareness for environmental and sustainable issues and a celebration of appreciation for our beloved planet Earth. A variety of educational and informative events are scattered throughout the week as an opportunity for the UC Berkeley community to take part in the festivities.
