WHO WE SUPPORT: Serving members and veterans who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces, regardless if it is attributable or not to service. FUNDING: Soldier On is funded through a combination of Government allocated public funding and the Solider On Fund, an official financial support program of the Canadian Armed Forces benefitting members, veterans and their families. The Soldier On Fund is the most direct way for Canadians to contribute to supporting the recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration of ill and injured members. The Fund has disbursed more than $.25 Million for the purchase of sporting and recreational equipment such as bicycles, golf clubs, kayaks, ski and fishing equipment. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin pan. Combine oats, pumpkin seeds, peanuts and brown sugar in a small bowl, then set aside.

• In a large bowl, stir flours with sugar, baking powder, five-spice powder and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk pumpkin with oil, water, eggs and vanilla. Then whisk in peanut butter. Pour onto flour mixture and stir just until combined. Mixture will be quite thick. •

Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan and sprinkle with topping. Bake for about 22 minutes, or until a tester inserted in the centre comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
