Smoky Mountain Winterfest – Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville

Smoky Mountain Winterfest is a magical celebration that begins in late fall and extends all the way out to nearly the starting of March. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville team together with local business like Dollywood, Ripley’s Aquarium and many other businesses to bring you the most festive Christmas and Winter season lighting displays in East Tennessee. Millions of twinkling lights are arranged in festive theme displays, offering you lots to enjoy town after town.

Gatlinburg

Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade (Dec. 2): Beginning at 7:30pm from Baskins Creek Bypass and East Parkway, a spectacular parade line-up of balloons, floast decorated by locat businesses and community groups, and high school marching bands, spans through downtown. It is hailed as one of the top 20 Events in the Southeast. Lights Over Gatlinburg at Gatlinburg Skylift Park: Experience America’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge in a whole new way mid-November through late Jan. as Gatlinburg Skylift Park is decked out for the holidays with more than 60,000 lights coordinated to classic Christmas music. Photo opportunities at the 30-foot tree and lighted trees along with the new Sky Trail make for a fun night. The “Lights Across Gatlinburg” gives you access to the Skybridge during the day where you can experience the new Tulip Tower which offers mountain views on each level while telling an inspiring story of renewal and rebuilding after the 2016 wildfires.

Pigeon Forge

Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas: Dollywood, Tennessee’s No. 1 attraction, lights up like a Christmas tree Nov. 6-Jan. 1. With more than 5 million dazzling lights, Smoky Mountain Christmas – now the 13-time Golden Ticket Award winner for “Best Christmas Event” is a family favorite in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Santa Haus at the Incredible Christmas Place:

The Incredible Christmas Place, a more then 2,000-square-foot complex filled with any and all holiday décor you could imagine, opens Santa’s Haus this holiday season. Christmas-themed activities for children and children at heart include story time with Santa, photo-ops, cookie decorating, ornament making and arts and crafts.

Christmas in the Park – Cookeville

Christmas is heralded in with the lighting of a 40-foot free in the center of Dogwood Park in Cookeville. The holiday weeks are filled with Christmas-inspired activities ranging from downtown carriage rides, meet and greets with Santa, concerts, Christmas Movies in the Park and the Christmas Forest exhibit at the Cookeville History Museum. While in the area, check out Monterey, Tennessee’s Christmas Home & Hearth Celebration; the more-than-50-year-old evening Christmas Parade through downtown Cookeville; and the drive-through light attraction Hidden Hollow Lights

Collierville

Experience the magic and beauty of Collierville Town Square during the holiday season with festive events and a quartermillion holiday lights in the historic district from Thanksgiving to the New Year. Events include the Christmas Tree Lighting on Collierville Town Square on November 22, 2022 and the Christmas Parade on December 2, 2022. But Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas are extra special. Families can visit Santa in the Gazebo, snap pictures along the Holiday Photo Stroll and more! All events are free.
