Please – To the lady who took my almost new black zippered winter boots from the Lost & Found Box at the Community Centre between 10:30 – 1:30 Monday Dec. 17, if you or your child need those boots more than I do please The Campbell River Hospital Laboratory keep them. However, PLEASE return the will be adding Fridays to their weekly custom made, expensive black orthotics that were inside the boots. I need them visits to the Quadra Medical Clinic back, they are expensive and difficult to replace! You can leave them at the Community Centre Office or in the Lost Wednesdays and Fridays & Found box – we will check the box for 0700 to 1000 hours them regularly. Thanks!! PS, FYI Those boots were left at the Centre on Saturday night and put into the L&F box Monday The Landing Pub Closure. We will morning for me to pick up – when I got be closed until Thursday January 10 there they had gone. They were NOT free for our annual Holidays and giveaways. The Legion’s Annual Boxing Day Casino night on December 26th 7:00-1:00 with games of Black Jack, Texas Hold’em Poker and more. Let’s have fun with dressing up in Vegas attire. It’s sure to be a great New Year’s Eve at the Legion with Elec-Trick Lemonade, December 31st 9:00pm with complimentary champagne and snacks at midnight, $10.00 at the door. On January 19th the Legion is celebrating 75 years on Quadra Island, with a pot luck dinner and dance with High Society.
