PRACTICE MINDFUL INTENTIONAL EATING Don’t you hate when you eat something mediocre just because you were starving? Instead, be intentional with what you eat and be sure to take some time to enjoy each and every bite. Be aware and intentional with what is going in your body.
UNDER PROMISE OVER DELIVER We have a tendency to over commit ourselves to things which can create anxiety. Instead, allow yourself to over deliver by being more about actions and less about promises. So, when your boss asks you about that report that you haven’t started yet say you will get it to them right away, instead of giving a deadline that you’re not 100% sure that you can meet.
REMEMBER TO HALT H UNGRY The HALT method allows you to stop A NGRY and think before L ONELY tough decision T IRED making. It is a principle where you do not make decisions when you are hungry, angry, lonely or tired. It helps you in not making decisions based on impulse or because you are dealing with negative emotions. FOCUS ON NOT OVER COMMITING What are some things you can do to prevent yourself from over committing?

A great trick is to make your water sexy with fruit like lemon, cucumber oranges or strawberries. Try to double your water intake by infusing your water with fruit.

Sometimes your willpower needs a break just like your body and your phone. You can recharge your willpower by saying no more often, and thinking things through before deciding how to react. How can you recharge your willpower?
GET MORE SLEEP If you are not getting the recommended amount of 7-9 hours of sleep each night, focus on getting to bed a little earlier.

High blood pressure increases your risk for heart attack and stroke, and the stress hormones make it harder to fall asleep. Sleep impacts many of the chemicals in your body, including serotonin.
