Our History • A 501c3 registered charity in US since 2004 • A registered not-for-profit organization in Canada since 2008 • Registered in Sri Lanka since September 2010 • Next year, we’ll be in EU! • Both medical and nonmedical professionals involved • Strong accountability and transparency

Strength of Board of Directors • Have been guiding the organization for last 7 years • 10 active Board members + 1 Legal Counsel – Regularly contribute time, services, funds, etc. – All volunteers • 17 trips by board members made to Sri Lanka since inception of IMHO – Goals: 1. to visit and monitor efforts, 2. identify needs, and 3. identify partners & establish partnerships

• Voted in as member of InterAction, the largest conglomeration of US-based relief & development NGOs (180+ members), in Fall 2009 • Continued networking & partnering with dozens of other small to large NGOs/INGOs
