Anything else at all you want people to know about you? I am a starter, not a finisher. I am allergic to vegetables, exercise, and country music. My life goal is to redesign the US education system to make it more student-‐centric and more relevant. Title of your project? – The Classroom as Reality 100-‐150 word summary of your change project? – I want to make the entrepreneurial classroom more realistic, more authentic. This means giving students ownership, getting them to collaboratively start actual, sustainable, scalable new ventures with other students from other schools. Brief background about your change project? – Entrepreneurship needs to be taught by doing – students need to experience what it actually feels like to be entrepreneurial. The best way to do this is to make the experience authentic. I have been playing around with this a bit (www.teachinglean.com). Your central question as it stands today? – How can an entrepreneurial course provide a more authentic experience to students so they can create sustainable new ventures? An answer to the question "So what?" – Students need to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, no matter what discipline. The most impactful way to do that is to have them learn by doing, and make their experience realistic and
