Camping with own gear

Available on prior booking and pre-payment @ KES 1,350pp

Our campsite offers:-

1. Basic Camping Accommodation

Duplex Tent accommodation : 8-person tents on-site, ready for occupation

Maximum 8 pax @ minimum of KES 16,000 per tent unit, irrespective of number of people inside

Children under 2 stay at no charge

Bedding is either clients’ own (e.g. sleeping bags, etc.) or provided at extra cost (Mattresses @ KES. 200 each, Bedsheets @ KES. 100 each, Duvets @ KES. 200 each, Pillows @ KES. 150 each)

Common/shared washroom facilities

Common/shared kitchen facilities – hired at additional cost (Ref: Koroga packages)

Food and Drinks not included (guests’ own food, cooking and drinks)

Swimming and bicycles for hire are charged separately

Maximum 4 pax @ KES 3,500 pp sharing, and minimum of KES 7,000 per tent unit, irrespective of number of people inside

Children under 2 stay at no charge

Bedding and bath towels are included.

Common/shared kitchen facilities – hired at additional cost (Ref: Koroga packages)

Food and Drinks not included (guests’ own food, cooking and drinks)

Duplex Tent accommodation (furnished King or Twin Suites)

Swimming included, but bicycles for hire are charged separately

NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED WITHIN THE CAMP, INDOORS OR OUTDOORS

All stays include shared use of our facilities as listed below:

Free parking within the IslanDreaM designated parking areas

Clean washroom facilities, with hot showers

Common/shared kitchen facilities – hired at additional cost (Ref: The IslanDreaM Koroga charges)

Games fields for ball games (Balls provided. Games kits are guests’ own)

Camp bonfire from 20h00 until midnight (After midnight, extra firewood available to keep the fire going at additional cost of KES. 30 per piece)

Check-out time: 11h00 (Arrange to have all bills paid and confirmed at least ONE HOUR BEFORE check-out time) Late check-out may attract additional charges

Pack enough - Day clothes and Evening clothes

- Sports wear, including swimming costume/trunks where necessary

- Sports shoes with rubber soles (football spiked soles and sharp-heeled shoes are not allowed on camp grounds

- Umbrellas/lightweight rain jackets

- Personal items such as toiletries, towels, torch, hat, sunscreen, notebooks, mosquito repellent etc

The IslanDreaM has its own organic farm, where camping guests can make farm orders for fresh foods including local vegetables, poultry and meats at unbeatable costs and free delivery (Farm orders are required 48 hours in advance, with pre-payment).

Camp IslanDreaM offers additional activities on prior arrangements, such as:

-Mbagathi River Picnic/Hikes

(In case of Game Rangers/ Local security requirements, request 48 hours in advance and directly)

-Swimming

No extra charges for guests using our camping facilities

-Cycling

Bicycles are available for guests using our camping facilities

Camp Rules

The IslanDreaM management reserves the right of admission into the camp

NO SMOKING is permitted in any area within the camp, indoors or outdoors.

The camp should be left in the same condition in which our camping guests find it

Garbage should be thrown in the labeled bins provided Disposal bags will be provided for food wastes, and collection done daily.

Bonfire is provided at designated area of the campsite, and no other campfires are permitted

Child campers must be minded at all times

Do not wander into the bushes, or wade/jump into the water dams within the campsite

For your safety and comfort, keep to the designated footpaths, track, sitting areas and games fields/enclosures

Be considerate, and respect other camping guests as well as current COVID-19 guidelines, particularly in the shared spaces.
