DESCRIPTION: The Los Fresnos Water Treatment Plant is undergoing a renovation and an expansion to increase production from 1.0 MGD to 1.5 MGD of potable water. The renovation will include the replacement of existing pipes, piping reconfigurations, pump and motor replacements, construction of a new chemical room and lab, the addition of another flocculation chamber, two new filter installations, and the addition of a sludge and backwash clarifier.

Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the 5% bond to the City of Los Fresnos as liquidated damages. Bonds shall be prepared on AIA Form 310 as described in the Project Manual. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days. The successful bidder and award will go to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, accounting for any one, or multiple part(s) of the bid(s).
