ID Shop: Round Robin

Round Robin (RR) first started this year as a series of hands-on zine making workshops for teens living in Alfred E. Smith Houses, and culminated in “Round Robin Newspaper” – Two Bridge’s/Chinatown’s first-ever trilingual creative newspaper featuring local artists/residents/scholars/workers from the project’s partner organization Hamilton-Madison House. This newspaper serves as a platform that distributes immigrant and diasporic experiences, facts, and history in this neighborhood. The first issue of RR’s newspaper will be published this Fall with the theme “Across the Street,” reflecting upon the longstanding cross-racial, public housing, and immigration issues that the neighborhood’s African American, Chinese, and Latino communities have faced.
