Leanin’ Tree began out of a deep appreciation and love of fine art. After 70 years and millions of cards we continue to be inspired by the breathtaking work of the talented artists and photographers featured in our catalog. While our showcase represents only a few of these remarkable individuals, complete biographies can be found on the back panel of our greeting cards.

Pigment Productions

Mike Scovel’s artwork has been a Leanin’ Tree institution for over 40 years. His pioneering style is a distinctive hybrid, endowed with the humor and playfulness of comic strips, yet rendered with true fine art technique. “I like knowing that my paintings make people laugh,” Scovel says.

Mike Scovel’s work is so popular that his cards can be found throughout our catalog in several card collections and gift products including Western Tradition ®, Laugh Out Loud ® Sea Cove Gallery™ and a variety of gift products.

Shari’s art journey has been one big, fun treasure hunt! Combining antique photos with vintage ephemera, buttons, flowers, barbed wire, bullets, maps, door knobs, and more, she creates digital collage art. Her love of the American West and history is a prevalent theme, as is her tragic sense of humor.

Pigment Productions is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ UK publisher of branded greeting card collections and bespoke stationery products. The Pigment creative team writes and designs market-leading humor and on-trend greeting cards, and they are thrilled to share their talent with Leanin’ Tree. Pigment is based in Harrogate,Yorkshire in a converted stable block studio, and remains committed every day to their mission to deliver a positive impact on people and the planet!

Robbin Rawlings

Robbin’s art has been described as having an upbeat, whimsical, and exuberant style. She credits the enchanting and ever-changing environment that surrounds her home studio for the inspiration behind her designs. Robbin lives with her husband and daughter in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
