No Risk, No Reward

With the theme of this issue being about expanding our hearts and minds to all that life has to offer, we recognize that approach does not come without risks. In a sense, the less we risk, the more we miss out on. We asked the staff at The Look to tell us about a recent risk they took on a new product or service, and how it worked out. Read below for their finds -- you might find something worth taking a risk on as well!

JORDYN

One of the biggest risks I have taken since I have been working at The Look was switching to an all medical grade skincare regimen that was suited to my skincare needs. I went from using every product under the sun and was not consistent at all with what I was using. I noticed the biggest change in my skin by being very consistent and switching to a ZO regimen along with The Look Koji pads. I now go by the "80/20 rule" for seeing greater change in your skin. 80% is made up of your at home skincare routine and 20% is made up of your in office procedures.

My service that I took a risk on is Shipt! I lurvvve it!! I was afraid that the items I ordered would not be picked correctly, which would send me driving back to the grocery store to retrieve them, but that never happened! I know...big problems...

But, the service is completely worth the initial start up fee and if you order enough, the same Shipt shopper will pick up your order and you can expect consistency each time!

Tear trough filler is my pick! As I’ve aged, the area below my eyes and to either side of my nose has sort of “hollowed out.” Courtney used Restylane to fill in the areas and create a really youthful and natural look!

I recently took a risk on trying out our new Moxi laser. I struggle with uneven skin tone and rosacea and even though my skincare products help, I knew I wanted to take it up a notch. I have never used a laser before and I was super nervous for what to expect, but I was so glad I made this decision. Ever since my Moxi treatment I have gotten more compliments on my skin than ever before!
