Building a home can be a very exciting but stressful time. Please begin with a lot of patience.
Learn which loan is going to meet all of your needs for your real estate purchase. You will make many decisions that may seem trivial but are important for a successful completion.

1. KnowYourLendingOptions
The most popular loans that are used to build a home are Construction, FHA and VA Loans There are instances in which USDA/RD can be used as well.
2. KnowYourNumbers
The more upgrades or changes you request, the greater the likelihood of an increase in the build/purchase price of the home
3. KnowYourPropertyType
Decide in advance the living area, number of bedrooms and bathrooms you will need. Once you have selected a floor plan and the bhilder has started the build processm, you may not be able to make changes
4. Knowthematerialsthatwillbeused
Familiarize yourself with the standard matierals used so you are able to make decisions when the time comes
5. Knowtheexpectedbuildtime
Ask beforehand the length of time it will take to complete the home. This allows you to plan accordingly. Add some buffer time for delays
