Philip Deguzman of “Selph” P
Philip Deguzman is a multidisciplinary creative who focuses on the art of storytelling through detailed art, installations and intentional product.
Through his creative outlet “SELPH”, Philip hopes to share his story and display his artistry in ways that are authentic to him.
Though I wouldn’t say that the holiday season directly influences my work, I would say that it makes me think about family, which is very important in my work and seems to be a detail involved in any type of work that I do.
My family is originally from the Philippines! Both of my parents were born and raised in the Philippines. I was born in the Philippines but was immediately brought here to the States before I turned 1. I didn’t grow up there like my parents did, so I’ve always been curious about what life was like for them growing up. I always ask my parents about their lives, what it looked like, and what it felt like. What they wore growing up, what music they were listening to, and what they would do for fun as teenagers/young adults - these are things that shape all the work that I do.
I was able to visit the Philippines back in 2010 and from just being there for that time, I learned so much about my family and their roots, but even that wasn’t enough. Though I feel like I don’t have a full grasp of the Filipino culture, I try to respectfully display this culture in all my works, through my own lens and personal perspective. Phoenix doesn’t have much representation when it comes to the Philippines’ culture, so I try my best to display that as much as I can with any work that I do and the people that I work with. As of late, I feel like I approach creating my work personally and emotionally. Approaching my work from a personal level gives my work intention, with the sole purpose of sharing my family’s story. Approaching my work from an emotional level helps my mental health and spirituality A LOT.
In-Action
I seem to gravitate towards projects that make me feel strong emotions and feelings. It’s not always positive emotions either. The more a project makes me FEEL, whether that’s a good feeling or bad feeling, the more I seem to want to do it. I think approaching my work in that way is important, especially being a male in today’s society. It’s okay to be emotional! Some of my best work has come from being the most emotional. I always strive to create works that evoke emotion and make the viewer think. Just recently I did an event titled, “KENNI” which was an art installation/market/parking lot function, that told the story of my family’s journey from the Philippines to the U.S. The name “KENNI” comes from the name of the street my grandparent’s house was on in Vallejo, California, which was Kennison CT.
Being that my childhood was a big inspiration for this project, I shortened the name of Kennison to KENNI, to give the name more of a playful, youthful ring to it. On display were 4 nostalgic art pieces: a pair of Air Max 95s, a scooter, a bike, and a basketball hoop, which were customized with stainless-steel chains and connectors used in the accessories that I make through SELPH Works.
Being that family was/is an extremely important part of my life, I wanted to include my closest friends and display their talents and works. In wanting to do that, I was able to include works from photographers Brandon Lopez (BarterForChange), Eli Cook, and Elden Andrews in my personal installations. Along with those three, I was able to have more of my closest friends create installations/experiences and sell their products that same night. KENNI Parking Lot Function included: Krèto, NeverGoodEnough, Dübys, Aquino’s Kitchen, and Mama Selph & Mama Krèto. KENNI was my first real collaboration experience, and I will never forget something like that. Every single person that was involved in KENNI from start to finish was someone that I consider family. These people have helped me get to where I am today with SELPH and as a person. I hope to lead by example in my profession and I hope that my work resonates with people in ways that make them want to be their own authentic selves.
As creatives, we’re constantly asked, “So what’s next?” or “When’s the next event?”. To me, that means that they loved my current project and just want to see and experience more. I try to remain as present as possible with everything that I do. The reality is, I’m one human and I need to recognize that! Consistency, high-quality projects/product, and intention is what helps me keep this balance. One of my goals though for each upcoming project is for it to be better than the last, regardless of the size of the improvement. My goal for 2024 is to have at least 2 interactive community events where we do things such as community painting, group sports, fitness classes, and collage making. I’ve been focusing a lot on my mental health and overall spirituality this last year and a half. It was activities like these that helped me heal and I want to be able to provide such activities in an attempt to help others heal as well. For followers/supporters of SELPH, expect a lot of really cool things in 2024! I plan to dive into 3D Modeling/Printing, videography, and focus on community-focused events. Expect more interaction, more products, and more growth! 2
RAPTURE 90'S
R
Rapture 90s is a South African world music and highlife rap collective that was founded in 2018. The group comprises producer and rapper Sbu Blu, lead rapper K Hippo, and lead vocalist Cesh. The Group
dropped its first single titled “Sondela” in 2020, which has been doing exceptionally well on Spotify and Youtube. We haven't released any music that is specifically related to the holiday season. However, we are open to exploring different genres and styles of music, so it is possible that they may release holiday-themed music in the future and it could be more inspirational but groovy. It is difficult to say what our Christmas soundtrack would sound like. However, given our eclectic style, it is likely that our Christmas song would incorporate elements of world music and highlife rap, with a soulful and upbeat vibe. Our music is influenced by a variety of cultures from around the world, including African, Indian, and Latin American cultures, these shape the group's music during the festive season. We are more into gigs this season and connecting with other artists whom we believe we could be of value to.
With us being more of a group, we are inspired by certain flows but then when Cesh, one of our lead singers, comes up with a chorus it makes it easy to accommodate the bars. K Hippo once said, "We cook more hits in the lab, we like Dexter" and when you watch the drama series you see our studio resemblance. Sbu Blu is always a mastermind when it comes to production and flow.
We are looking forward to dropping a single because we understand how much music our supporters are willing to take. We are also starting to believe that our fans believe in performance presence more than just music.
We don't have a specific way to approach our songwriting besides being in a studio session that is positive, vibrant, and flowing. We would like to believe that art is better influenced by energy. Southern Africa is a space where music is determined by the drum signature but with us being able to mix drum signatures shows that we can be creative in our own way. We are not just trying to be different but believe that a person is not conformed to a specific genre. In the future, we'd like to explore Jazz because we believe that it is one Genre that we have not seen ourselves being challenged with. One collaboration experience that stands out is "C.R.E.W" which we did before we dropped "Sondela" but there is a new upcoming song that we believe our fans will appreciate. We are creatives and for us, it all goes with how we feel and what our fans need or features.

Christopher Ogbuagu Emenike, widely recognized by his stage name Crizem, is a talented musician hailing from Amaeke, Abiriba in Abia State, Nigeria. Born with a passion for music, Crizem's journey in the industry began in his early years. His roots in his state of origin, Ebonyi State further shaped his artistic perspective, influencing his unique blend of cultural elements in his musical creations. With a deep connection to his heritage and a drive for innovation, Crizem has captivated audiences with his soulful melodies and meaningful lyrics, solidifying his position as a notable figure in the Nigerian music scene.
Cultural influences play a significant role in shaping my musical style, especially during festive seasons. Each cultural backdrop adds unique elements to my compositions, creating a rich tapestry of sounds and rhythms. Whether it's infusing traditional instruments or drawing inspiration from diverse musical traditions, these cultural influences contribute to the authenticity and depth of my holiday work.
Personal experiences and connections also play a crucial role, allowing me to weave my own narrative into the festive melodies, making the music a reflection of both cultural diversity and personal stories. The holiday season brings a unique sense of warmth and nostalgia, influencing my music to embrace themes of joy, love, and togetherness. I draw inspiration from cherished memories and the festive atmosphere. While I don't have specific traditions, I infuse festive elements into my creative process by experimenting with cheerful melodies and incorporating seasonal sounds that capture the spirit of celebration. It's a time when creativity aligns with the joyous vibes of the holidays. Songwriting, for me, is a deeply personal and introspective process. I often start by drawing inspiration from my own experiences, emotions, or observations. Whether it's a narrative, an emotion, or a concept, I aim to create a connection between the listener and the story or feeling embedded in the music. While I don't always have a specific message in mind, I strive to convey authenticity and evoke emotions. Music has a unique ability to communicate beyond words, so I focus on crafting melodies and lyrics that resonate on a visceral level.
Whether the message is one of love, resilience, introspection, or celebration, I want the listener to find a piece of themselves in the music and take away an emotional experience. One area I'd love to delve into further is the fusion of traditional elements with contemporary sounds. Incorporating cultural instruments, rhythms, and melodies into modern compositions can create a unique and rich musical tapestry. "RIDE SO LOW" is a special song for me, as its lyrics delve into the theme of resilience, patience, and the unwavering belief that success is achievable through consistent efforts. The inspiration for the song came from personal experiences of facing challenges and setbacks. It's a narrative about navigating through tough times, symbolized by the metaphor of riding low.
SELF-DISCOVERY
The evolution of my music has been a journey of selfdiscovery and artistic exploration. The factors contributing to this evolution include personal growth, life experiences, and a deepening understanding of the emotional impact I aim to convey through my music.
The lows represent the difficulties and trials one encounters in the journey of life. However, the central message is about persisting through these lows with unwavering patience and determination. The lyrics emphasize the importance of staying true to oneself, making genuine efforts, and believing in the process. It's a reminder that success isn't always immediate, and sometimes the journey requires endurance. By riding through the lows without forcing outcomes, one can ultimately rise and reach their desired destination. In essence, "RIDE SO LOW" encourages listeners to keep moving forward, stay patient, and trust that their efforts will lead them to a brighter destination in life.
During the festive season, my hope is that my art serves as a source of joy, inspiration, and connection for people. I aim to create music that resonates with the spirit of celebration and brings a sense of warmth and positivity. Whether it's through uplifting melodies or meaningful lyrics, I want listeners to feel a connection to the festive atmosphere and find moments of joy and reflection in my work.
Navigating the balance between creative expression and industry demands is a delicate dance. While staying true to my artistic vision is paramount, I also acknowledge the importance of adapting to industry trends without compromising authenticity. Striking this balance allows me to connect with a broader audience while maintaining the essence of my artistry. Ultimately, I believe that authenticity is magnetic, and it's the core of what resonates with listeners. As I navigate this journey, I aim to evolve creatively, staying open to innovation while preserving the unique elements that define my sound. Selecting collaborators is an art in itself. Working with JAYKON VIBES was truly exceptional.
The beauty of music lies in its endless possibilities, and I'm always excited about exploring new genres and styles. Additionally, I have a growing interest in ambient and experimental genres, where sonic landscapes play a crucial role in storytelling. Ultimately, the future holds endless possibilities, and I look forward to the musical adventures that await.

JUBOIL Juboil, born in Prolific, Nigeria, is a recording/ performing artist. He is also the chairman/CEO of Juklin Industrial cleaning services.
I'm highly influenced by the season, and while there are unexpected expectations, my focus is on meeting the demand. It's a tradition everyone anticipates, and without a doubt, history will be made. I excel at what I do because I set goals, collaborate with my team, and get things done without much talk.
I embody a culture that shapes global music. Various cultures, like South Africa influencing sound evolution each season, inspire me. I am selfinfluenced, sparking creativity for my holiday projects. Amid uncertainties, I talk to myself, seeking destiny's guidance—it's a logical approach to navigate the unpredictable journey. I am coming with a Chongai sound and the vibes will definitely come with the afro vibes worldwide.
My music and sound stand out because it's generic, representing my evolution. I take pride in influencing changes within the industry, even among my indigenous colleagues. As an independent artist, the struggle for recognition and platforms can be challenging. Keep honing your craft, and your talent will undoubtedly speak for itself.
Dreaming big with collaborations with artists like Davido, Olamide, Asake, Burna Boy, and Rema is ambitious, but the industry thrives on bold aspirations. Stay authentic, persistent, and who knows—your dedication might open doors to those big collaborations. Keep pushing forward! Navigating the industry can indeed be challenging with its various paces and internal politics. Your strategic approach and determination to shoot your shot are commendable, reflecting the resilience often found in those from the streets. Setting annual goals and embracing healthy competition can be powerful motivators for personal growth. I approach songwriting by drawing inspiration from my surroundings, turning anything I touch or see into a song.
In this season of love, I'm optimistic about my crafted art resonating—except for those encountering my sound and style for the first time. Change is constant, and I proudly represent the new school in the music scene. Being known as the amiable figure in the industry is a significant asset. Your ability to connect with fans and bring joy wherever you go speaks volumes about the positive impact you have. It's heartwarming to hear about the deep connection with your supporters, especially during holidays when you make an effort to link up with them. II'm a creative and talented artist, making every piece carry a message. My track record proves that everything I pen down becomes a hit; I'm technically inclined. My music often speaks about victims oppressed by oppressors, reflecting my revolutionary stance. In my upcoming project, I have a specific message that I aim to convey through my music.
Every year I traveled home for festival and carnivals . One of the fans left me with tears when she asked me to kneel and she prayed for me, she sold her laptop to support me. This really got me.
The fan who sacrificed her laptop to support me not only demonstrated an extraordinary level of dedication but also reflects the profound impact I had on people's lives. Such moments as this are powerful reminders of the influence artists can have on their audience. Keep cherishing these connections and the genuine support you receive — it's a testament to the authenticity and impact of your presence in the industry.
Exciting times ahead! I'm working on a groundbreaking project, aiming to be the first Nigerian artist to delve into it. While I can't spill the details yet, the future is now, and I am the future. Prioritizing credibility over popularity has been my mantra, and it's working. I've collaborated on two projects with artists from different countries, winning an award for a song with a Tanzanian rapper, Popper. Another project featuring UK Gospel artist Gabar YaAllah is in the works, and it's set to be a massive hit—get ready for it! Fans eagerly await my upcoming project, "Chilling the Sniper." During a recent live TV interview, the studio lines lit up with requests for an unreleased song. Anticipate its release in the first two months of January!

Suraaj S Vasudev, born on May 26, 1993, is a versatile South Indian artist—composer, playback singer, producer, songwriter, and audio engineer. Suraaj S Vasudev, born on May 26, 1993, is a versatile South Indian artist — composer, playback singer, producer, songwriter, and audio engineer. Hailing from Kanyakumari, with a rich blend of Tamil and Malayalam influences, he debuted as a playback singer in 2019 for "Mera Naam Shaji." Known for collaborating with Dr. Jassie Gift, he recently marked his composer debut with the Malayalam Indie Single "Kunjamma" in 2023, showcasing his prowess in Indian Film score, Indie, and EDM.
My initial studies began living in a seaside village called Puthanthope in Kerala's capital Thiruvananthapuram district. Most of the people there were Christians. I loved the songs that came out during the Christmas season as well. The melody, rhythm, and singing styles attracted me more. So Christmas season was always a feast of songs for me. This festive season is one of my favorites. My favorite moments on Christmas is the tug-of-war on the beach. Both teams pull in harmony and when the rhythm of the sea waves joins, there is an experience of celebrating nature and man together. I was very impressed by it. Later, I was a part of the Christmas album presented by Bon Bon Chorus which I assisted along with Dr. Jassie Gift for a few songs.
SOUNDS ON THE Rise Being Indian makes it easy to know and experience different types of culture. We have authentic Hindustani music and Carnatic music. Apart from that, the western music culture is also advancing along with it. It is now possible to experiment with music as a musician and impart a new way of enjoyment to the listeners.
“Kunjamma” It’s context is a young man who is in love and confides his troubles to a character named Kunjamma. Kunjamma means mother's younger sister, but here it is a character in that country that is loved by everyone, and the name Kunjamma is the name that everyone in the country addresses as that particular female character with love. Kunjamma is a woman who runs a toddy shop in that country. The songs of Prema Nirashyam have come as desired. However, I insisted that it not be a sad song because three and a half minutes is a modestly funny song to enjoy and make people laugh. The lyrics should be interesting. The primary lyrics were the first line of the song and its hook line. After that, the rest of the lines were written very interestingly. To give an example, "When I have money in my hand, I became a hero to her, and when I have no money in my hand, I became a zero to her." This can be sung sadly, but for me, the character who was disappointed in love was drunk and swayed at that moment, joining the rest of them and saying this to Kunjamma. All the people who commented about the lyrics gave good comments, I saw some people laughing non-stop when they heard the song, that's what I wanted too.
Approaching songwriting and the messages I want to covey, the words chosen should be in tune with the melody and each word should be able to convey the meaning and feel of the song to the audience. When certain words are combined with certain melodies, magic is created. So I believe that this songwriting has equal importance in giving a melody.
It's been a very good journey with music, I've made some mistakes, but I dare to understand them, and from that, I'm correcting the mistakes and improving each one. Every day I like to learn new things and that too about music. And even making music is like being in a classroom. Here I am the teacher, I am the disciple, and music is the subject, and that is a process that I like very much.
In the next 5 years, I want to be known as a well-recognized musician. Life is too short to not achieve as much as possible, make good songs and music, and entertain huge audiences. I want to be able to make better music and when I finish a song, I want to be one of the audience. I currently have 2 songs in the pipeline. All music should come out with good sound quality for everyone to enjoy. My technicians and I are working to bring them to the audience in February 2024. There is a desire to do a collaboration with Alan Walker in the future and meeting Hans Zimmer at least once and talking about music for a while.
Thatʼs one of my biggest dreams. If I come across some good venues, I will not hesitate to bring talented artists in front of the world. As everyone grows together, so does the art. I believe that a season is best suited when there is an artwork that understands that culture very deeply and integrates art with the culture.

YOUNG SNG Siphelele, Young SNG, Ngxaza is an independent hip-hop and R&B artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. Music has been a part of his life since childhood singing along to the music has been a part of his life since childhood singing along to the radio and mimicking the artists he heard like Black Mambhazo and Ricky Rick. As he got older, he started to write his own lyrics, poems, and experiment with different styles and sounds. He released his first song at the age of 19, and he’s been developing his craft ever since. He’s been lucky to work with some amazing producers such as Dude Lil Beats and many more other inspiring musicians.
CULTURAL INFLUENCE I'm originally from South Africa, and my music is definitely influenced by the sounds and styles of my home country. During the holiday season, I find myself incorporating elements of African rhythms, instrumentation, and storytelling into my music. I also like to explore personal memories and experiences of spending the holidays with my family and friends. These influences help me create a truly unique and authentic holiday sound. The holiday season is a special time of year for me. I love the sense of togetherness and joy that comes with the holidays.
It's a time when I like to reflect on the year that's passed and set goals for the new year ahead. In terms of my music, I find that the holidays bring out a different side of me. I often write more introspective and personal songs during this holiday season.
My creative process begins by identifying a specific emotion or feeling I wish to convey in my music. Crafting a melody or chord progression that mirrors that emotion follows. Adding lyrics and refining the song's structure comes next. My goal is to create narrativedriven songs that resonate emotionally, aiming to inspire, comfort, and uplift those who listen, fostering a meaningful connection through my music. I aim for my music to create connection and shared experiences, making people feel less alone. I hope it inspires reflection and appreciation for the beauty and joy of the season, ultimately bringing people together and spreading happiness and peace.
I set short-term goals in my creative process, like song targets, collaborators, and album vibe. Soon, I aim to release a new album or single, collaborate with Travis Scott, perform at major awards shows, win accolades, reach a billion streams, tour internationally, and expand my fan base.
My work has transformed from introspective to socially conscious, reflecting the times. Experimenting with various musical styles and production techniques has led to a diverse body of work. Life experiences, encounters, and societal events have shaped my evolution as an artist over the years.
I enjoy exploring new genres and styles, open to experimenting with different sounds. In the future, I aim to incorporate more electronic and experimental elements in my music, and I'm keen on collaborating with artists from diverse genres. Always seeking to challenge myself and push boundaries, I'm excited about the evolving journey ahead.
Balancing creative expression and industry demands is crucial. I aim for music true to my vision and personal experiences while ensuring accessibility and commercial appeal. Trusting my intuition, staying true to myself, and being open to feedback allow me to stay authentic while manifesting my dream.
I seek collaborators who are openminded, passionate, and creative, valuing those unafraid to experiment. A standout collaboration was with 7784 Music Entertainment on "Telling Me." It was special, leading to a Quality Time music video shoot and featuring a diverse cast, garnering support from around the world.
I'm happy to share the inspiration behind my work. "Like A Star" draws from childhood memories of striving to be a musician and the gratitude I felt for choosing the road of music. The song captures that inspired feeling, drawing from personal experiences and emotions. It's a special reminder of my journey, reflecting on where I started and how far I've come.
Connecting personally with fans during the holidays is crucial. Engage through social media greetings, share festive content, host themed livestreams or Q&A sessions, and participate in charity drives. Reflecting on memorable fan interactions, one standout moment was when a fan brought a thoughtful gift to an Isivivane concert – a touching gesture that left a lasting impression.
Exciting things ahead! New album and tour in the works, exploring fresh musical directions. Increased fan engagement via social media planned. Grateful for fan support, eager to grow as an artist and connect meaningfully. The future looks promising!

“I usually begin shaping my story using a pen and paper. I don't use any sort of screen, and all gadgets are out of the room once I sit down with my writing Pad. My style is to write a core subject that my story deals with, and not to type it into a final draft until it is ready to be typed. LORD FORD Richard Ford, known by his stage name Lord Ford, is an American songwriter and hip-hop performer from the southern region of Arizona.
Regarded as a diverse lyricist and composer, Ford is the frontman for the Arizona hip-hop collective The Sounds of the Most High. Ford is a crowd favorite in the Arizona underground scene. Ford continues to entertain with a dynamic performance that captivates and entertains hip-hop listeners of all ages. Fans and critics agree, Lord Ford delivers on all fronts.
I truly enjoy the winter holiday season, especially in Arizona. The holidays have always been, to so many others as well as myself, a time when the hot desert cools and life slows down. The stillness accompanying the holidays also invites hunger and motivates and fuels my songwriting. The vibe I would like to explore would be melancholy with Sinatra's style of swing to it. Picture the Grinch meets Rakim and Eric B.
My process in approaching my work consists of diving deep into the art of freestyling. Once I discover a play of words or a topic of interest, only then will I take to writing down the ideas. My music consists of the lives and stories of those around me. My messages always aim to show my listeners a different view on life, one that may ultimately not be my own.
Arizona has become a melting pot of multicultural music styles, and the state continues to support my need to create as a growing artist. My music has strong notes of West Coast and Southern Rap familiarities, which can be heard throughout my discography. Arizona has community, and its culture is vital in allowing artists like myself to explore new avenues of music and artistic expression freely.
I have a series of songs that are named after my late grandfather. In the Ballad of Billy Fred 2, the second installment of three, I follow the chapters of my own life while coinciding with the story of Icarus, a character in Greek mythology who was infamously known for struggling with his coming to adulthood.
THE ONE AND Only I've come to a place in my songwriting process where I am confident in my ability to control the direction of where the music will take my listener. My band is a big part of my success as an artist. With their continued support, I have grown both in my sound and as an individual. in the future, I want to put out a blues grass project— something scratchy and raw yet calm and still.
“I hope my listeners feel familiarity and a continuum that resonates. I want my music to feel like a community. Hop-hop is a house that welcomes.”
I've remained reserved about who I've chosen to work with outside our collective (The Sounds). I am open to collaboration of all types, but it comes down to the beat for me. My favorite collaboration is the works featured in Trailz's Ode to the Creosote. I enjoyed the artist I showcased myself as in that space and time.
Every artist has a vision for themselves, and I am no different. It's hard. What works for me best is having fun. As long as I enjoy the art I create, the pressure to conform doesn't cross my mind.
I am good at goal setting, both shortterm and long-term. I freestyle every day, like my morning stretches. In warm-ups, I try to create something new for myself. I have a string of releases this year, and I aim to hit everyone dead center. I retreat a bit around the holidays. However, my supporters are everything. There are so many moments when I've been genuinely moved by the support I've received from my community and listeners worldwide. Recently, a listener Dm'ed me and shared the lyrics from a particular song with me. At that moment, there was commonality. That's what being an artist is all about. I am very excited to announce that my follow-up album is just about completed.
This will be, without a doubt, my most wellrounded project to date. I have so many records on this project that I've held on tight to. The times are drawing near.

I'm Armah William Toe, a 24year-old content creator, entrepreneur, and artist manager from Liberia, West Africa.
My work as an artist manager is positively influenced by the holiday season by bringing forth numerous events and opportunities for booking artists. Being a Christian, this time of year holds a special significance as we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ who is our savior. I tackle my work with a positive mindset while aiming to assist aspiring artists in comprehending the business aspects of music, building their personal brand, establishing connections, and promoting a drug-free lifestyle. Assisting independent and emerging artists in realizing their full potential through mentorship and counseling is a significant source of inspiration for my work.
I continuously seek individuals who share a genuine passion for my work and are eager to actively participate. One collaboration that particularly impressed me was a sponsored cipher, organized by my entertainment company, which brought together talented young rappers from two distinct districts while providing them with a platform to showcase their exceptional skills. I engage with my followers by offering motivational, inspirational, and entertaining content to emphasize the significance of this unique season that occurs annually. Five years from now, I desire own my own studio to bring artists into the spotlight. In the coming year, my focus will be on establishing a mini studio dedicated to content creation, live streaming, and artist performances. Additionally, I have another project in the works that aims to unite young rappers from various districts to showcase their exceptional talents.
I give the evolution of my work a 7/10 and through what I contributed, I was able to get a brand-new laptop and camera. Another field I’d like to delve into in the future is music production.

KOPANO K-Music SA, born in Duduza, South Africa, is a versatile artist, songwriter, and actor. Initiated music at 14 in a local choir and embarked on a solo career at 20.
Being from the culturally diverse background of South Africa, the holiday season sees people embarking on long journeys to be with loved ones. This cultural and personal aspect significantly influences my music.. Crafting a song about the universal experience of traveling home resonates with many, capturing the essence of what numerous individuals go through during this time of the year.
Festive seasons are prime for South African artists, such as myself, to seek enjoyment and unwind. I create music to spread joy, with numerous gigs that amplify opportunities. Thriving and growing during this festive period is key. Evolution in my music stems from daily experiences—observing both the positive and negative aspects of life. A transformative factor was my tour to London, UK, providing a profound influence on my music. Immersing myself in different cultures broadened my perspective, significantly shaping and contributing to the evolution of my sound. Songwriting is natural for me and melodies emerge as I listen to instrumentals. My music spreads positivity, love, and happiness — simple, relatable, and heartfelt.
Earlier this year I had released "Ngyakuthanda - K-Music SA" on Valentine's Day. This song is close to my heart, narrating a beautiful and heartwarming love story from my own experiences. It’s relatability makes it easy for others to connect, as many have shared similar experiences.
“Aiming for joy and enjoyment, fostering love and care through the music.”
I aim to explore RnB and Amapiano in the future for global recognition and to expand my fanbase worldwide. Efficiency is key in collaborations and I seek hardworking partners. I once had a standout collaboration with a Londonbased artist and producer, Ade Smilez. We created a remarkable Amapiano track which he played at AfroNation in Detroit. The crowd's enthusiastic response showcased the magic of our collaboration. As an artist, authenticity is my priority andhat I create is heartfelt. I avoid succumbing to industry pressures, ensuring I stay true to myself throughout the creative process. Adopting a goal-oriented approach, I prioritize one goal at a time, without unnecessary pressure. Following successful performances in London, my next aspiration is to perform in the USA, taking steady steps towards my ambitions.
Engaging with fans on social media is my priority. I respond to every comment and message when time allows, keeping fans happy. A special mention to a lady fan who creates TikTok videos with my latest single, helping it reach a wider audience—much appreciated! Expect great music and videos as I collaborate with Monalisa from Acrylic Records. She made the London tour happen, and we're planning much more. Stay tuned for K-Music to blow you away.

Tobby Bryant is a recording and performing artist who has recently released two albums. The first album is "KUNTA KINTE" and the second album is "TOP BOY" adding a unique sound and diversity to his music.
I take the festive seasons very seriously because it's time for touring and business. I make sure I have new projects out that will give me ideas for merchandise production. I incorporate some elements related to Christmas during this season like the seasonal sounds and melodies that have been here all the time and then add my creativity to it. We also plan a couple of shows during this season. In my process, I like to write down my lyrics and go through them after and then see if the message is right and how I want it to be portrayed. Every song is unique and has its own message. Most of the time, the lyrics come from somewhere or something that I've experienced just like my song, "Wana C Wana", which has a story in it.
I have high expectations because I am learning a lot from researching and trying new ideas and styles that have helped in my progress as an artist. Even working with different creatives has helped me learn something from them. I'd like to explore Reggae music because I am a fan of Bob Marley, I'd like to explore house music, and K-pop as well. I love them. For collaborations, we have to connect in something. Either you're my friend, I love your art, or I'm paid. We will work. I navigate the balance between creative expression and industry demands by just being me as usual. I'll also discuss any other demands with my team and if it suits us, we go with it. I want to make music for the world and live my dream. I want to be close to the moon, you know. Be a star. When someone recognizes me for what I do, that keeps me going. On time, my high school teacher recognized my music and was impressed. Many more exciting projects and different versions of Tobby Bryant up next!

Dj Weixers is a Kenyan, DJ, promoter, event organizer, and Chief Operating Officer of Rebels Entertainment. The holiday seasons influence my work positively and, as usual, it is the best season for everybody celebrating Christmas. As Christians, during this time we also congratulate one another and celebrate ourselves for crossing over into a new year. Traditionally, I will partner up with my team to organize our annual event every December. We often celebrate our diverse cultures together since I am from a nation that embodies over 6 languages. I am based in the city of Mombasa, Kenya where there are citizens from different parts of the country and tourism is the main source of income after the port of entry. Therefore, there is a positive growth advantage for my career. I always hope for top satisfaction for a client when opportunity comes so that my services are of quality and reccommended through any network.
Through experience and identification of new opportunities, I’ve had the ability to maintain positive growth. Through an abundance of interactions, branding, and use of social media I’ve seen a huge impact on my growth. In the midst of this, we formed our label in the entertainment industry where my partner and I formed a crew of artists, deejays, dancers, and a video director giving birth to Rebels Entertainment. This also helped in bringing new responsibilities which improved the focus of my purpose. Consistency, persistence, patience and hard work are my inspirations so that i can be able to help others who need the support in my sphere of influence. I approach my work very professionally. This creates an ethical, conducive working environment to make it easier and the quality higher in the service delivery needed. I’d love to be able to expand my business knowledge to a level whereby I can create more employment opportunities to the youth in my community. The international level is the target.
We love to interact, share memories, and also let others have information on our next projects. I have been able to engage myself with plenty of memorable fan interactions to an extent some even share their experience with their families with some of them sending their children to us for management and mentorship. New albums, introduction of new artists, and nationwide expansion is on the rise!

Nnami Jude Obinna, also known as Brown Bizzy of Africa, is a rapidly emerging musical artist, singer, and songwriter hailing from Nigeria. His impressive collection of singles is gaining traction in various stores showcasing his talent and musical prowess. One of the universal truths of music is that it can spark powerful memories, making it an important part of many treasured holiday family traditions. These memories, often associated with joy, are particularly significant during holiday parties and religious celebrations. The love in the air during these festive occasions serves as inspiration to write good love songs. Music plays a pivotal role in creating lasting memories and fostering bonds with extended family and friends – bonds that can be fondly looked back upon for years to come.
Cultural Influence Culture plays a significant role in shaping my sounds and rhythm. Being an Igbo person, my songs and rhythm are deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of Igbo cultural context. The vibrant traditions, folklore, and unique musical expressions of the Igbo people serve as a profound influence, infusing my music with authenticity and a distinctive flavor.
This cultural connection not only adds depth to my artistic expression but also allows listeners to immerse themselves in the richness of Igbo heritage through the melodies and beats of my creations. Advocating solely for the transformative power of love, I believe it serves as the catalyst for unity, the foundation of a beautiful home, and the nurturing force behind peace and success.
Love, in its various forms, embodies the essence we need in our daily lives, motivating my dedication to crafting love songs. Growing up as a romantic soul, I've encountered challenges in love, yet the timeless song "African Queen" by 2Baba has remained a steadfast source of motivation. Its poignant lyrics continue to fuel my passion for love, serving as a constant inspiration that drives me to create melodies and verses that capture the beauty and complexity of love in all its facets.
In this season of love, my primary focus lies in crafting potent and meaningful love songs, aiming to spread messages of love and evoke passion. It's a wonderful time to connect with people through the universal theme of love during this festive period.
Presently, I find myself deeply immersed in Afro soul and R&B, yet my eagerness to explore the vibrant realms of highlife is palpable. The allure of delving into the rich cultural sounds and lively tunes that encapsulate Africa's party life is an exciting prospect for my musical journey.
Over the years, my songs have evolved as I continually strive to improve, learn new skills, and respond to the desires of my fans. Adapting to changing trends is a crucial factor contributing to this evolution. Embracing contemporary styles ensures that my music resonates with the current market demands, allowing me to consistently deliver messages that align with both timeless themes and trending sounds. When embarking on collaborations, various factors come into play, including the collaborator's style, fan base, and overall compatibility. Achieving a delicate balance and fostering mutual understanding are crucial for creating something truly special, as exemplified in my collaboration with Prejon Song from Los Angeles. Our shared ideas and openness to suggestions resulted in the creation of a remarkable song scheduled for release next year.
Balancing creativity and business to meet industry demands is undeniably challenging. However, by setting clear goals, staying organized, collaborating with others, continuously learning, and remaining true to my artistic vision, I navigate this delicate balance. Networking extensively, embracing new technologies, and, above all, staying authentic to myself contribute to a holistic approach that allows me to thrive in the dynamic landscape of the music industry. I have ambitious goals as an independent artist. Despite the challenges, I'm confident in achieving success. On my way to the top. Excited for holiday events with fans, capturing memorable moments. Anticipate a year filled with great songs, bodies of work, and possibly an album from me.
