The Miale Team Kicks Off Quarter 2 After a year of Zoom meetings, it has never been more important to reconnect in-person and share our successes and goals together as a team. This month, we ventured outside of our virtual boxes to meet in-person for The Miale Team's Quarterly Kickoff. After a successful first quarter in 2021 with $27,789,333 closed volume and 108 homes sold, it was time to celebrate our wins and focus on our goals for the second quarter. The kickoff was an oppotunity to reflect on our team's growth, focus on our goals, and generate energy around the exciting new things in store this year. Featuring sales and marketing updates, the unveiling of our 2021 event schedule, and even a Zoom appearance from Chris Suarez, CEO of Xperience Real Estate and Co-Founder of PLACE Inc., the meeting was nothing short of action-packed!

Client Spotlight: The Vance Family Finding Clarity Through Uncertainty We never knew the benefits of working with an amazing agent until Chris Grant helped navigate us through this CRAZY real estate market! We were referred to Chris through a mutual friend and were told “this guy is awesome.” While we had planned on using the same agent who sold us our home a few years back, we figured we’d take a chance and work with Chris and The Miale Team. Right away, we could see the benefits of working with their team. Chris came to our home a few months before listing to discuss a game plan and ensure our timing was perfect. While the spring market usually takes off in March or April, Chris recommended we list in February to get ahead of the other listings that would be coming soon. We weren’t quite sure we could be ready a month sooner than we had planned, but trusted Chris and his experience. We were able to share the video, as did many others, to help assist in our search. I’ve never seen an agent do this before. Chris really thought outside the box and found creative ways to find us a home. After just a couple of weeks of waiting, a home we loved came on the market. Chris made sure we were one of the first to go see it. When we decided this was “The House,” Chris discussed with us what we could do to make a strong offer in an attempt to beat out all others. After two and a half days of patiently waiting for a response from the sellers, we learned (through Facebook Live) that our offer had been accepted. When the appraisal came in lower than expected, Chris was right there to help us re-negotiate with the Sellers. We quickly came to a new agreement that we were all happy about. Just a month after going under contract, we signed papers and became the proud owners of our new home in East Lyme yesterday. We can’t even describe what this means to our family, knowing that our daughter will be in an amazing school system that will help her make great gains.
