As a team focused on empowerment, we are motivated by helping others and creating a lasting impact on our community. This year, we continued our annual tradition of delivering pies to our current and past clients for Thanksgiving. We feel so incredibly thankful for the support of our clients and community, and to show our appreciation, we set out to hand-deliver pies for our clients to enjoy with their loved ones on Thanksgiving. It was a joy to deliver an assortment of seasonal pies to make this holiday special for our clients. To our team, those clients are part of an extended family. We value the relationships we build with each person we do business with, and those relationships endure long after a home closes.
In partnership with Children’s Reading Partners and the Rotary Club of West Hartford, The Miale Team sponsored the Children’s Reading Partners annual Holiday Book Drive in December. Bennett Forrest of The Miale Team, who chairs the drive, said, “Over the past nine years, we’ve collected or purchased more than 10,000 books for kids in our programs. This year, one hundred percent of online donations will go to buy new books for students and classrooms in our programs. “ “Many of the children in our programs do not own a book of their own or have books available in their homes,” added Children’s Reading Partners Program Director Ronni Breiter. “Having a book selected just for them builds motivation and instills reading confidence. Our children's faces light up when they receive their personal gift!"

Each new year offers an exciting opportunity for a fresh start and new beginnings. 2022 was a year full of exciting change and forward momentum.
