THE NEW CRAFTMAKER COLLECTIONS 2025

WHO WE ARE

The New Craftmaker was established in 2012 as a platform for genuine and meaningful craft, playfully imagined and properly made by artisans of the British Isles.

Under the leadership of renowned gallerist Sarah Myerscough, our mission is to use our expertise to collaborate with makers and designers to develop exclusive collections that reinvent traditional techniques, creating contemporary work imbued with cultural meaning and entwined with history and place.

A wide palette of skills and materials go into the making processes, leading to a diverse product portfolio encompassing furniture, lighting and objects for the complete interior. The result is richly storied pieces rooted in narrative, process and regional distinctiveness.

WHAT WE DO

We work with a curated collection of some of the finest craftspeople across the British Isles, supporting these independent makers and their specialist practices. By investing time with our makers, and with an understanding and respect for their techniques and processes, we guide our clients through each step of the commission to reach the very best outcome.

Whether you have a fully formed idea or you like a particular maker’s work and want to commission a variation in a different size, finish or feel, we can work with you to design a piece unique to your project.

The beauty of working so closely with our workshops and makers is that we can design and make completely bespoke commissions to suit the full scope of your needs.
