Hadrian Leisure have agreed to allow the NMC to use the Burnside facility without needing to guarantee a minimum payment
◦
AW has booked the Burnside facility for every Wednesday from the last week in September until the last week in April
◦
To meet the demand for greater variety in club meet locations, every month the official meet advertised on the calendar will be a wall other than Burnside
An unknown quantity of hoodies and T-shirts are still available. ◦
ED is currently holding the stock.

AW is to investigate keeping stock of hoodies and T-shirts at Burnside to sell on Wednesday night meets.
DA is to investigate the possibility of having NMC stickers

AW reported on meeting with Hadrian Leisure
ES has booked Kenton Cool And Neil Gresham for the 29 th of October and Steven Venables for the 9th of December ◦
The Neil Gresham/Kenton Cool lecture is to take place at the Northumbria University Student Union with the Northumbria University Climbing wall to be available for a masterclass.

Northumbria University presented three options for hire of the wall. The committee agreed on option 2, with the NMC hiring exclusive use of the wall and the university taking responsibility for any liability on condition of all participants demonstrating competence.

ES is investigating options for ticket-selling systems.
◦
The Kenton Cool/Neil Gresham Lecture is to be promoted online and by poster using graphics supplied by the BMC.
Communications •
The proof of concept for the first section of the Northumberland Climbing guide is close to completion ◦

JD will meet with Steve Blake to discuss finalisation
JS is keen to start using the new County Climber template as soon as possible

Membership update •
The summer has been quiet for membership, with a trickle of new members.

Retention is good
•
Prospectives who have not converted to full members are to be struck from the rolls when BMC fees are due.
Events •
2015 Langdale meet to be booked for a weekend between Easter and the May Bank Holiday – AW to organise

End of summer BBQ to be held at Rumbling Kerns – ES to lead

The possibility of holding a stock of No Nobler County at Burnside to distribute is to be investigated.
AOB •
JD has made the arrangements for the club's contribution to the county archive

J has been working with John Vaughn on the process of erecting new signs at crags ◦

Most relevant parties (landowners etc.) have been identified

Gareth Crapper, Ian Ross and Jim Aiken are to be kept informed of committee business for now.

The decision on the proposal to use income from the BMC talk to subsidise new members on away meets is deferred until after the talk takes place.
