Action Points and Matters Arising •
AW has booked the Burnside lecture theatre for the AGM ◦
A proposal to reduce the minimum size of the committee and drop the quorum from 7 to 5 will be presented at the AGM

JD will step down as vice president but remain on the committee
◦
Dan Leadbetter, Sonia Byers and Pete Hubbard have been approached to join the committee
◦
Ian Ross and Gareth Crapper will no longer be required to act in a consultative role for the committee.
◦
JD announced his intention to approach Steve Blake

ED reported that the accounts are with the auditors
•
The financials for the Venables talk have been tallied
•

the total income was £405, of which £228 came from online ticket sales, £100 from ticket sales on the door and £77 from the raffle.

Total expenditure before the speaker's fee was £126: £90 for the room booking and £36 for raffle prizes
◦
The speaker's fee was £750, resulting in a total cost to the club for the event of £471
Members' slideshows are to be held at Burnside, on the third Wednesday of February and the third Wednesday of March ◦

The February slideshow is to focus on climbing, and the March slideshow is to be general interest.

Steve Blake has sent an update on the guide for Howlerhirst Quarry. JD is planning to release the first crag guide once the first two are complete.

PF will arrange the printing of membership cards

It is to be announced at the AGM that from that date forward the county climber will be primarily distributed electronically with the option for those who feel strongly about the change to make different arrangements.
Events •

Raven Crag cottage has been booked for the new members' meet and the annual meal.
