Hockey players of all skill levels will share ice time with NHL alumni this spring to raise funds to support Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia care for Baycrest Health Sciences. Now i n i t s 1 1 t h y e a r, the Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s in support of Baycrest has raised $27 million for Baycrest Foundation to support research, innovation, education and care for Alzheimer’s
disease at the Bathurst Street and Hwy. 401 institute. This year’s line-up of NHL alumni will include Guy Carbonneau, Paul Coffey, Al Iafrate, Mike Krushelnyski, Jamal Mayers, Marty McSorley, Mark Napier, Denis Savard, and Bryan Trottier. North York Harvest Food Bank hits its Winter Food Drive goal North York Harvest Food Bank (NYHFB) has hit its Winter Food Drive goal, raking in $270,000 and 250,000 pounds of food. The drive, which ran Nov. 27 to Jan. 6, set a goal of $250,000 and 250,000 pounds of food, which
would provide 750,000 meals to children and families in northern Toronto. NYHFB is the primary food bank for northern Toronto, distributing more than two million pounds of food every year
