Emery Village BIA has proposed a First Nations park and living museum for a parcel of land currently occupied by a hydro right-of-way south of Finch Avenue, on the east side of Weston Road. The proposal, which was brought before Etobicoke York Community Council earlier this month has the support of the Huron Wendat, Six Nations of the Grand River, and Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation.
