For the first time in its decadeslong history, Inside Out will screen some of its Toronto LGBT Film Festival selections at Fairview Public Library, 35 Fairview Mall Dr., during the LGBTQ youth drop-in program Wednesday, April 6. The screening of eight youth shorts will be held during the Diverse LGBTQ+ Youth Spot from 5 to 7 p.m. Scott Ferguson, executive director of Inside Out, said he’s been looking for new outreach opportunities to bring queer film outside of the downtown core. “We wanted to go outside downtown and do presentations and film screenings to target certain groups that are underrepresented, such as youth and seniors,” he said. The films to be shown at the Diverse LGBTQ+ Youth Spot will deal with issues young queer people face, such as questioning gender or sexual identity, Ferguson said. The 26th annual Toronto LGBT Film Festival will run May 26 to June 5 primarily at TIFF Bell Lightbox, 350 King St. W. Hundreds of mourners were expected for the funeral – which began with an 11 a.m. Procession from city hall to St. James Cathedral – where the
