For three days, spectators can watch hockey players from Ontario and Korea take to the ice at Angela James Arena to practice and partake in an exhibition game. But these aren’t your typical hockey players - they are sledge hockey players. The Ontario Sledge Hockey Association and the Friends of Angela James Arena (FAJA) are hosting the free event Thursday, Nov. 24, Saturday, Nov. 26, and Monday, Nov. 28 at 165 Grenoble Dr. in Flemingdon Park. The public can watch team practices Thursday and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., with the main draw exhibition game Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. This is a lead-up to December’s World Sledge Hockey Challenge in Prince Edward Island, featuring Korea, Norway, the U.S. and Canada.
