retail
Info: Zeronine design architects Project name: Opap bet store Project period 2010.
Personal role: Design architect and construction
supervisor. Production of design concept, architectural drawings and detail documentation.
The
existing cold shell of this bet store was a narrow retail area that is located upon a main road at the outskirts of the city center.
The
main concept was to hide all existing different vertical elements as walls, columns and beams and create a new skin out of using plaster walls painted in white plastic. This creates a calm and tranquil atmosphere that allows customers to stay longer in the store thus bet more. The aesthetics used is much different than the custom design of similar bet stores but hopefully this differentiation would attract more customers above the typical male football followers type of persons.
