Overview This qualification is primarily intended for application in the design industry. The qualification will give the student the competencies required to progress in a career in design. Students credited with this qualification will be able to practice in a variety of design fields, and will be equipped to enter a professional design qualification at NQF Level 6. The course focuses on graphic design, and touches on aspects of design research, design writing and design for the environment. The knowledge and skills gained in this course would transfer well to fields like fashion design, interior design, graphic design, multimedia design, jewellery design, industrial design, product design, spatial design.
