Overview This qualification is primarily intended for application in the design industry. The qualification will give the student the competencies required to progress in a career in design. Students credited with this qualification will be able to practice in a variety of design fields, and will be equipped to enter a professional design qualification at NQF Level 6. The course focuses on interaction design, and touches on aspects of user interface design, user experience design and design that is responsive for digital interfaces. The Design Techniques course, with a focus on Interaction Design, is an entry level qualification for students who are interested in a career in interaction and experience design. Further study/practice will be required for these fields. Students credited with the unit standards in this qualification are capable of: +
