PAUL MICHAEL GLASER as Tevye
BOOK ONLINE orchardtheatre.co.uk
From the award-winning producers of The King and I and High Society comes a new production of one of the world’s favourite musicals. Directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, the nation’s favourite Strictly Come Dancing judge and master of the musical stage. Fiddler on the Roof stars the celebrated and acclaimed actor, director and writer, Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky in the iconic 70s TV series Starsky & Hutch) in the lead role of Tevye. Tevye, the local milkman in his village of Anatevka, has always stuck by his traditions but suddenly his headstrong daughters decide that they want to marry for love rather than sticking with tradition. Fiddler on the Roof is filled to the brim with classic songs like If I Were a Rich Man, Matchmaker Matchmaker, Sunrise Sunset and To Life.

TUE 1 – SAT 5 APRIL It is 1992. Grimley Colliery faces the threat of closure and the future of the brass band seems uncertain. With the miners torn between redundancy packages and the picket lines, band-leader Danny’s hopes of winning the national brass band competition seem like a distant dream. But the arrival of flugelhorn-playing Gloria brings hope, romance and controversy to the Yorkshire brass band on the brink of collapse.
Christened as ‘The Man with the Golden Voice’ in a recent BBC4 documentary, internationally respected British singer songwriter, Paul Carrack, the voice of pop classics such as How Long, Tempted and more, returns to familiar ground this April. Marti Pellow plays Che, a character who reflects the voice of the Argentine people. Linked to Eva by destiny he brings conflict to the story of Eva’s rise to fame. With Wet Wet Wet, Marti Pellow enjoyed virtually unrivalled chart success, with over 25 hits and three of the UK’s biggest number one singles, including the seminal Love Is All Around. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ORMOND 2 AGREAT STREET HOSPITAL
A2 ©2007 Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (©2008 Theatres for Theatres) Registered charity no. 23582
Since October 2010 HQ Theatres, alongside its sister company Qdos Entertainment, has been raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Theatres for Theatres Appeal. To date we have raised £431,000 for the appeal which aims to build new state-of-the-art operating theatres at the hospital, which treats very sick children from across the UK. This money has been raised through the generosity of our audiences and the staff of The Orchard Theatre who have taken part in various fund-raising events and activities. We will continue to support the Theatres for Theatres Appeal and your on-going support is greatly appreciated. On behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital, a huge thank you.
