Did you guys hear there’s going to be a new LTG waddling in soon Conclave is just around the corner! However, before Conclave, we have Candidate Training Conference. CTC is a great opportunity to learn about being an LTG or District Leadership Team member and get a head start on your speech for Conclave. You will receive tips from ALL the current LTGs of Regions 9 and 17. Please note that CTC is NON BINDING. I highly encourage anyone who is interested in running for LTG to attend. Registration closes on December 4th and there will be NO late registration. Make sure to register ASAP if you ar there :) Have a wonderful winter break!

Heyyy penguins!
ExecutiveAssistantYou may have heard of penguin popsicle points, the division reward system that ranks your school club based on a variety of factors. At the end of each semester, the club with the most points will get a donation to the charity or organization of their choice in their name. Officers play an important role–filling out the MRF (secretaries), tMRF (treasurers), and Pub+Rec form (PR chairs/editors/presidents) are the main ways clubs are currently earning points. To help your club earn popsicle points as a member, you can attend DCMs, help fundraise, and encourage the officers to submit their forms. Good luck! It’s been great going to more in-person Key Club events this fall, and I’m excited to keep meeting all of you. :)

Hey purple penguins!!
I hope you guys have been doing well lately, and I am so proud of you all for dedicating your time to volunteering with us and completing service to help those in our communities. I have one quick reminder: if you are a PR officer, please remember to submit your articles, visuals, and recognition by the 10th of every month at 6 PM! Even if you are not a PR officer, if you would like to nominate anyone for an award (a member, officer, your home club, faculty advisor, Kiwanis advisor) for their outstanding work, please remember to fill it out as well. Filling out the pub and rec form every month will also help you rack up popsicle points. Thank you to those that have stayed active in their home club and division by attending events and participating in the volunteering opportunities given by your officers. I cannot wait to see you all at the holiday-a-thon in December!!

KellyChu ExecutiveAssistantNovember DCM was really successful, I enjoyed seeing other members from the division and helping with the service event. I enjoyed making baby blankets this year especially since it was held at our school. We were able to make so many and I’m glad we could help and donate them during the holiday season. -

Q1: What is your favorite part about the holidays?
Q2: Highlight of the 2022 Key Club term
1. 2.
My favorite part is probably the new bright mood the holidays bring to everything (and, of course, not being in school).
A highlight was definitely RTC because it was really cool meeting members from other divisions and just seeing how people immediately clicked with one another due to their love for Key Club.

My favorite part about the holidays is how pretty people decorate their homes and public areas, it’s really fun to take walks in the city!
I really enjoyed the Fall Harvest Festival and it was my first event with Key Club. It was fun volunteering with other members and seeing the other fun booths at the festival.
