DNE'S LETTERd n
Hello hello Penguins!
Happy November! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween and are now looking forward to the Thanksgiving season.
October was a busy month with spirit preps, Region Training Conference (RTC), and Fall Rally North (FRN)! It was so fun seeing you purple penguins and meeting many other wonderful Key Clubbers all over the CNH district. This was my first and last RTC and FRN :( But I can say it was extremely worth it and I highly recommend you to go next year if you didn’t this year! You learn a lot about Key Club, leadership development, and make everlasting memories with friends.
2 4 6 8 Who do I appreciate? YOUUUU! Much love to you D34S <3 In honor of the Thanksgiving season I encourage you all to thank those you are grateful for! Whether that be a quick text or talking to them in person, it can really make someone’s day.
Enjoy the rest of this newsletter! Shoutout to our wonderful PR Committee members Ivy Nguyen and Barali Kitiyaraka for designing their own pages for this newsletter! You can find them on pages 15 he blanket making November DCM!

Our Service Project Coordinators will be hosting THREE different service events this month, so stay tuned for more details. In addition, our November DCM will be hosted by Fremont Key Club this month. They will be hosting our annual blanket making event. I hope to see you there!

The D34S DLT shows their appreciation + shares
1) One thing I am always grateful for is our members! The DLT and I put in a lot of effort to plan events, but you guys are what make the event so successful! You’re always willing to participate and make it a fun event for everyone. Even if we face issues during the event, everyone is always willing to adapt, which I love about Key Clubbers.
Sriya Pillutla Lieutenant Governor KimberlyBowman ExecutiveAssistant KellyChu ExecutiveAssistant2) I loved Region Training Conference and definitely made some core memories at the event. I had an amazing time with my group and our division at camp. I am looking forward to Fall Rally North. I am excited to see people from other divisions and also participate in the rally this year.
1) I’m grateful for my family, especially their support of my extracurriculars and the laughter we share. I’m also grateful for RTC, because it further opened my eyes to Key Club and all the amazing people in and outside of our division. <3
2) I’ve loved the events this term! Key Club energy is like nothing else and experiencing that at RTC and FRN preps has been so fun. I’m still looking forward to future DCMs and DWSs, as well as DCON even though I don’t know too much about it.
1) I'm extremely grateful for my best friends, who have stayed by my side as I persevered through so many hardships, and they are the only reason I'm still here today.
2) I have enjoyed the volunteering opportunities, socials, and new friends I've made through Key Club this term, and I am looking forward to future opportunities for me to learn about leadership and compassion through Key Club.
what they are still looking forward to
1) I’m very grateful to Key Club for giving me opportunities to meet new people. During the RTC, it was my first time seeing so many key clubbers, nonetheless, from different schools! :DD For this term, I’ve enjoyed going to the events such as the FRN, and learning about a game called Dungeons and Dragons.
2) I am looking forward to Halloween, and soon enough, Christmas.

1) I'm extremely grateful for my friends and family! I am also very thankful for all the experiences I have had in Key Club and getting the opportunity to meet so many great people!
2) So far I enjoyed all the events I have been to including RTC and FRN this past month. I am looking forward to going to more bonding DCMs and DCON later this term!
LaurenGaela NewsEditor HEARTS EllieYao TechEditor1) I’m grateful for my dance, friends, and the rest of my support system for keeping me sane through junior year. I’m also especially grateful for key club and the community it has given me both in and outside of school and the opportunities it has opened up for me ❤
2) This term has been a lot of fun so far! I’ve enjoyed all the DCMs, DWSs, FRN, and other division events we’ve had. My favorite thing though, definitely has to be meeting and getting to know all the people from our division and my home club (tino :DD)! I’m looking forward to attending as many future events as I can and talking to more people in D34S!

One of our most popular events this month was our Dog Toy-Making Collab with Animal Welfare. During this event, our officers, Desiree and Julia, taught our members how to make dog toys using these super cute blankets (Aladdin!!) which would later be donated to the Humane Society in Silicon Valley :). We hosted two rounds of this event (both held afterschool, 9/20 and 9/30) for people with a 7th period off and those who don't. As a result, we had a wide variety of participants and overall, was a great way to engage our new members. :)

My family and friends and all they support they give me!
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? Either mashed potatoes or dinner rolls.
What is your favorite Key Club event and why?
Fall Rally North because it’s cool to see so many Key Clubbers in one place at the spirit rally. I also like having fun on rides at Six Flags.
If you could make your own Key Club Division, what mascot and color would you choose?
Cats as mascot since cats are my favorite animal, and who doesn’t like cats? As for the color, I would still go with pastel purple because I think the color looks really pretty.
