These three things are always linked together and I don’t know why. You can love someone and they not be your Valentine. You can also be romantic toward someone you don’t love. And Valentine’s Day just confuses everyone. Men don’t particularly care for it. And women unfortunately use it as a way to gauge how much their boyfriend, husband, significant other or whatever you want to call him, cares about you. I understand both sides and unfortunately, this is a no win situation. I’m a romantic and feel everyone should have a little romance in their lives. So if you don’t have a significant other, then be your own Valentine...love yourself. Or get together with your single girlfriends and celebrate love and share your dream mate lists. We get so caught up in the aura of making “Valentine’s Day” special, that we forget about why the day was instituted...to show love. Do something different this year and celebrate all forms of love all month. Plant a love seed and watch it grow into something even more grander than you could have ever imagined.

calling all sin Valentine’s Day is supposed to be a day devoted to love. Okay, so you don’t have a Valentine but you do have people you love and who love you. This year instead of feeling down because you don’t have a Valentine, host a party for you and your single girlfriends. Go all out...send invitations, order party favors, flowers. Have it catered or really do it up and hire a handsome chef to come in and fix dinner for everyone. I’m sure there’s one single male chef out there willing to cook for a room full of beautiful single women. Encourage all of your guests to go all out and treat this like a date...new outfit, get your hair done, a mani and pedi and a new pair of shoes. Hanging with your girls is supposed to be fun. Besides, who else is going to spend the night telling you how great you are and that you were way too good for your last boyfriend or ex-husband. As for the entertainment, do it old school, play party games, Scrabble, Monopoly, Spades, Dominos, or get a copy of “Mystery Date”. Have guest write down their “Worst date”, “Most Romantic Date”, “Ultimate Fantasy Date”, “Funniest Breakup” or “Most Bizarre Date” and hand out prizes. Give out a prize for the best outfit or fiercest shoes. Set up a dessert bar and give guests a bag or box to fill with goodies for later when the reality of singleness sets in. Who knows if this party goes well, it can become a yearly event where you get together to celebrate your friendship.

HOW TO MEASURE We recommend wearing a non padded bra and holding ones arms straight down at their side while measuring. STEP 1. MEASURE FOR BAND SIZE This is the circumference around your rib cage. Holding a measuring tape parallel to the ground, measure around your rib cage directly under your bust after exhaling. Round the measurement to the nearest whole number. If the measurement is even numbered, add 4" to obtain your band size. If the measurement is odd numbered, add 5" to obtain your band size. STEP 2. MEASURE FOR CUP SIZE Keeping the measuring tape parallel to the ground, measure at the fullest part of your bust. Round the measurement to the nearest whole number. STEP 3. Guys Guide to Buying Lingerie: The most difficult part of buying lingerie as a gift, is knowing what size, color and style to purchase. Here are a few tips to help in figuring out how to purchase:

•Get the right size. Look in her lingerie drawer. Find her favorite bra and panties note the designer

and the size. While looking in the drawer, take note of the colors, styles and embellishments (trims, lace, beading...the details). You need to have as much information as possible to help you make the right purchase.

•Panties, knickers, bikinis, lace boxer, boy brief, thong, tanga, full brief...this is easy to decide. When

you look in her drawer, if you don’t see a thong, don’t buy one. Remember you’re trying to make her feel and look beautiful and buying her something she doesn’t like won’t get the response you’re hoping for.
