There are no new beginnings. You can start over. You can begin again. You can continue. But there are no new beginnings.
What has begun has begun. You can continue. You can progress. You can improve. But what God has begun is his work to complete. You don’t have to spend energy trying new things, trying to be somebody you are not. Just keep going. If you’ve fallen, pick yourself up and continue. Drop the mentality of starting over. Continue. God is the one who begins and God is the one who ends. In the middle is continue. Keep going. Don’t stop. You will reach the finish line as long as you continue. There is a great cloud of witnesses all around you cheering you on, encouraging you, checking on you. Don’t stop. Have confidence in God. God is responsible for what he has begun in you, with you, around you. He will keep it growing until it is completed. All you have to do is continue. Power Magazine n August 2017

On one end of the city we have Mr. Philando Castile a black man whose senseless assassination was captured on video cam. After being pulled over for a traffic stop, he was shot while reaching for his license. On the other end of the city we have Ms. Justine Ruszczyk, a white woman who performed her civic duty and reported an alleged crime only to be mistakenly shot down.
Our churches also must be the cornerstones of the communities they reside in. Churches with credit unions, schools and senior housings make a real difference in community building. Pastors too must be willing to shoulder the responsibility for a people hungry for leadership. They are expected to be charismatic and good stewards as business men/ woman in order to support the people they are called to serve.
