Put them on display. Take possession of your abilities. Recognize your worth. You are enough. You are already strong. You have a lot to offer the world. Take possession of your inheritance. Every place the soles of your feet touch has been given to you. Walk on your land. Own it. Take possession of your mountains. Climb to your high places. You belong there. Take advantage of your obstacles. Turn them into opportunities. Accept your challenges. Move into your victories. Don't be afraid of the ups and down, but learn to soar. The Official Ordination & Installation of Minister Steven Turner To The Office of Pastor of Destiny Changers Deliverance Center
On Sunday, May 22, 2016, Pastor Barry Hargrove opened the doors of his church, The Prince of Peace Baptist Church, for the long awaited Ordination & Installation of Elder Steven Turner to the Office of Pastor. Led by the legendary Rev. Dr. Andre Humphrey serving as the Catechizer, along with Reverend Donald Palmore of the New Good Samaritan Church, who served as the Moderator, this multi-talented Musician, Author, Songwriter, Christian Businessman, Christian Actor & Activist has now answered the "Ultimate" call ... to Pastor. Pastor Turner was theologically examined by 7 Pastors of his peers and received their spiritual blessings. The Service was highly anointed with music rendered by “The Men of Faith”. The Reverend Grace Jeffries of New Good Samaritan Church preached up a storm and charged the young Pastor to be steadfast and unmovable. Rev. Palmore - before commencing with the Ordination - requested the lovely Lady Leora Turner, Pastor Turner's wife and emerging evangelist, to join her husband seated in front of the pulpit and the 7 laid hands and prayed over them both. Pastor Turner was presented with a Bible, the Right Hand of Fellowship, then the Ordination Certificate from Rev. Dr.Andre Humphrey. Pastor Steven Turner has served in ministry for over 50 years: playing music from age 4, singing on his late mother's choir (The Radio Chorus of the 1st. Apostolic Faith Institutional Church), as a Minister of Music for 33 years, coordinating Gospel Music presentations & Christian Community Concerts such as "Praise Power 2009" with the American Diabetes Assoc., U.S. Dept. of Justice Combined Charity Campaign, and "Free-Praise Artist Showcase", as the Music Director for the "Save Another Youth / Stop The Killing Coalition" headed by Rev. Willie Ray for 14 years and as the Founder of Praise Unlimited Ministries, Inc. Pastor Turner was licensed as a Minister in
1994 by Apostle Aaron B. Claxton of End Time Ministries. He attended & graduated from the University of Family Bible College & Seminary in 1997 with a Bachelors in Ministry. In 2003 he graduated from the Elijah School of the Prophetic Institute and was ordained under Pastor & Prophet Reece Powell as a Minister of Music and an Elder. He received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Family Bible in 2009. His latest collaboration is ... "Faith-Walk III & The Street Revival 3" birthed out of a Vision from God to deal with the rampant drug activity and fear in the NW Baltimore region of the 4900, 4800 & 4700 blocks of Liberty Heights Ave. On Saturday, June 4, 2016 @ 12 noon. Pastor Turner will lead 14 Pastors and concerned citizens and area community leaders to 14 corners to pray for healing, employment and peace. The FREE outreach will feature: REBIRTH, Psalmist Anita Brown & Minister of Music LaContriss Briscoe. This will take place outside the Forest Park Senior Center, 4801 Liberty Heights Avenue where his church is located. This historic, city-wide outreach will be filmed for airing on COMCAST Cable. Pastor Turner serves with Rev. Dr. Andre Humphrey on the "Trauma Team" as a "Trauma Chaplain" responding to the MOST violent crimes in Baltimore. He is also a NW Baltimore City Police Chaplain and does "Ridea-Longs" with the Uniformed Officers. He served for 5 years as a Uniformed City Police Officer and was the 1st Public Safety Guide for the Downtown Partnerships of Baltimore. HOW ANTHRAX CHANGED MY LIFE THEA BRADLEY, AUTHOR
My life before exposure to Anthrax was very normal. After the exposure, for me there seemed to be a Spiritual Battle going on. I had begun to be confused about my faith and trust in GOD … because our lives weren't the same anymore. Just as with anything traumatic or unexpected in life - good or bad - our attention can be taken away from our Savior JESUS CHRIST, if we don't focus. I eventually began to pray more and would send out daily, weekly and monthly Scripture as GOD would direct me to my coworkers, friends and family. I discovered how to live on purpose for GOD. GOD'S Word from the BIBLE became my Daily Bread and remains my Daily Bread. The Scripture PROVERBS 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path; became more real than ever because of my health mind, body and spirit was affected. EMPATHY is what I learned people need, no matter what the situation or circumstance. When we as a people can understand and have compassion and “agape” love for others no matter what, then I feel that's when we are closest to our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.

STAND FIRM
Stand firm, and you will win life. Luke 21:19 Anne Arundel County, Maryland has a chance to make history with the election of Judge Claudia Barber on the Circuit Court. In this upcoming November 2016 election, it’s beyond comprehension that in the 365 years of the court’s existence there have only been two other African-American judges. If elected she will make the third judge and only African-American woman to be elected for the Circuit Court bench. There is no doubt that Judge Barber will . She is currently the administrative law judge for the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings. She has 16 years of experience in criminal law as a litigator on the federal and state level. And her service and affiliations are too numerous to mention but easily verified.

All people benefit when we have diversity in our judicial and political system. Each individual brings a particular set of life experiences to an appointed office. Now that all the fuss about the Baltimore mayor’s race is over, let’s reflect on how unnecessarily brutal that race was on everyone involved. No matter who you voted for, you have to admit anyone brave enough to step into today’s political arena must be applauded for being courageous - especially when the current political atmosphere has reached an unprecedented new low. In the history of the United States electoral system few Americans have witnessed the vulgarity and the negatives spewing from the candidates. Once upon a time, the race for the presidential office held a certain amount of dignity and respect. And
only people with high esteem, morals and educational credentials were considered for office. Sadly, it appears the election of the first Black-American president, Barack Obama, allowed racism to rear its ugly head in ways unprecedented to his predecessors. Nevertheless, if despite relentless opposition, President Obama’s tenure in office provided health care reform, passed the Fair Sentencing Act, passed credit card reform, increased support for veterans and cracked down on bad forprofit colleges, there is hope! People can be anti-establishment and make a positive difference! Now it is up to you. There are a few times in life that history provides a chance to change the future.
