Think On These Things By Reverend Juanita G. Wingo
Something Will Remain And I only am escaped alone to tell thee. ~ Job 1:15 There were four messengers from the four troubles of Job. Each messenger said the same thing: I only am escaped alone. After each devastation, each loss, there was someone left to bring the news to Job. There was always someone left. The catastrophe was not 100%. There was something left. In Job’s case it was a messenger. We may experience loss. We may lose most of what we have, own, possess, dream, or attempt. But we will never lose everything. There will always be something left. A remnant, a piece of paper, a voice, a thought…something will remain. A dream cannot be destroyed. Even if all that is material is gone, the memory will remain. The messengers brought the news to Job about his losses and the attention was always on what Job had lost. But what was missed was what remained: the Word that came back to Job, I only am escaped alone to tell thee. The message remained. The Word survived. The messenger was left alive to tell it. No matter what devastation we may experience or what losses may occur, we will always have something left. We will always have the Word of God – leading us, directing us, guiding us, correcting us, teaching us, and sustaining us. Look for the messages in the losses of your life. The material may be destroyed. The memory may begin to fade, but there will always be a Word in what is left. again.
There will always be something left that you can use to begin

Committed To Keeping Health Care In The Community Health Information You Can Use “Every child is special. When it comes to health care, every parent or guardian only wants the best for their child. When seeking quality pediatric care, make sure your provider cares for the entire child with services that include well-child exams, immunizations, and managing complex conditions. Failure to treat the entire child could result in more expensive health care costs in the long-run.” Rama Shankar, M.D., Director of Clinical Operations, Total Health Care, Inc. Below are a few pediatric health tips that you may find helpful. Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) A leading cause of some children’s poor school performance is Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Children who are impulsive, hyperactive, lack focus or have poor organizational skills may have this condition. Fortunately, this disorder can be effectively treated in many children. The seriousness of these signs is often determined by the age of the child. However, there are other conditions that may mirror ADHD. Discussing your child’s behavioral patterns with his or her school and pediatrician is the best way to determine if a problem might exist. If you have concerns, speak to your pediatrician about obtaining a referral to a developmental pediatrician or neuropsychologist for an evaluation. Depression Childhood depression is a very real problem, not a sign of weakness. Clinical depression is a disease, which if left untreated in children, can have severe and lasting implications into adulthood. Fortunately, there is good news, depression is a treatable illness. Obesity Childhood obesity is now an epidemic in the United States. Currently, one child in five is overweight. Obese children and adolescents have an alarming incidence of diabetes and are at risk of having high cholesterol, high blood pressure and sleep apnea. Equally devastating is the teasing and social discrimination many overweight children endure on a daily basis. If you think your child is overweight, talk to your pediatrician.
These healthy slices of information are provided by Total Health Care. Total Health Care has nine locations in Baltimore and provides over 30 professional health services, including Pediatric Health Care.
