Think On These Things By Juanita G. Wingo
Your Mountains are Moving Faith is the substance of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
When a tiny seed is planted in the earth it could grow into the tallest tree. But you can’t see it yet because it grows down first.
Things are happening in places you cannot see: beneath your burden, beyond your natural sight, on the other side of the mountain before you. Beyond the veil of your vision your mountains are moving.
Mountains of debt
Mountains of addiction
Mountains of poverty
Mountains of misery
Mountains of bondage
Mountains of doubt
Mountains of fear Untold riches and wealth await you. Enough for you and to share. You must keep believing and moving forward day by day until you move through what has been standing in your way and receive what you cannot yet see. Power Magazine n November 2017

THE CHURCH TEA
RETURN HOME
“Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him. Luke 8:39 (NIV)
Excitement, rejuvenation and hope is permeating through the air at Bethel AME. A fresh anointing has transfixed the congregation and slowly but surely the word is spreading that there is a new sheriff in town. His name is Rev. Patrick D. Clayborn and his wife's Pastor Sherri. His accomplishments are easily researched for any naysayers who would question his credentials. He matriculated from Morehouse & Georgia Tech to receiving his doctorate from Drew University. • A welcoming spirit has embraced the congregation. Members who left the ministry for reasons only known to them are coming back to worship. It is not uncommon to become elated when recognizing a long lost familiar face engaged in fervent worship. Several personal conversations with former and current members of Bethel AME have all attested to the genuineness of Pastor Clayborn’s ministry. There is a sense of authenticity generated from the pastor and his wife. His prophetic gifted ministry is the balm from Gilead to cover the wounded. He is approachable, financially transparent and not politically deaf to the current political affairs that adversely affect our communities. The intellect of the fellowship is not lost in self-serving religious ritual. • This servant leader encourages with thought provoking, relevant sermons based in sound religious doctrine and principles. It is a true gift of the spirit when a pastor can make the Word of God plain, understandable and transformative without being boring or mundane.
• Pastor Clayborn is not above sharing his personal life experiences that are relatable and enriching. Nor is he drenched with pastoral jealousy that would only permit ministers less gifted than himself to preside over the congregation during any absences. • Pastor Sherri is a formidable and gifted minister in her own right. She quickly recognized the needs of women who were in desperate need for resources in an unorthodox healing service that was not business as usual. For that only, so many women were touched and extremely grateful. • Every great institution has a few kinks in the amour but at Bethel AME it is covered with renewed strength, sense of purpose and anticipation for the future. If you were ever a member of Bethel AME church it’s time to come back home. Until next time join me & Rev Williams Wingo on WOLB 1010AM Friday from 12:00 to 1:00. And email me at: annwilliams@ramovers.com.
