Plan ahead. Will your current furniture work in your new living space? Assess the layout of your new home before packing up your current one. If you can d e t e r m i n e t h e r o u g h l a y o u t o f y o u r new home and where the furniture will go, you will be able to get rid of anything that won’t fit before you make the move - saving you time and money.

It also helps to assess the storage capacity of your new home. Will you have a garage or a storage unit? Will you have a n a m p l e a m o u n t o f c l o s e t s p a c e ?

Knowing what you will be able to store in your new home will help you determ i n e w h a t n e e d s t o b e e l i m i n a t e d before leaving your current home.
