Although our mountains here in Western NC are beautiful year-round, Fall is when they really show off! The transformation that occurs during late September through October is truly breathtaking. Vibrant variations of red, yellow and orange cover the landscape, and coupled with the clear blue skies and color temperatures, it makes Fall the best time of the year to get outdoors!
