If your budget is a little more flexible and you are looking for a robust travel system the XMOOV could be a better choice, this multifunctional stroller 3-in-1 comes with a 2-in-1 carrycot and stroller seat and the MINK (read more about the MINK on the next page) child car seat. Unlike the Juli the XMOOV features four large inflatable and shock-absorbing wheels 20cm at the front and 30cm at the back and each have their own independent shock absorption system. These durable, abrasion-resistant wheels are well suited for even the most rugged walks, ideal for those who enjoy family off road adventures. The stroller is suitable from new-born up until three and a half years old or 22 kg, there are eight positions for the eco-leather cover handlebars making it easy to swap between drivers, the seat can be set up in rear or forward facing. When baby is brand new the carrycot configuration is where to start allowing them to lay completely flat, then as they grow it takes just a little adjustment to turn the carrycot into the stroller, this saves the carrycot from becoming an addition to the attic after 6months. The seat can be reclined into three positions via the handlebar which lets you drop the seat to lying flat, half sitting or seated with one movement, the large hood provides deep coverage from bad weather, it also has a retractable canopy to protect against the sun. The hood is made from a light and breathable mesh, which provides extra ventilation for bubs and a good view of little one for drivers, the window in the hood allows eye contact with the child or a quick check in to make sure they are doing ok. This set also comes with a mosquito net, a rain shield, and a footmuff to keep them cosy and protected in all seasons. The detachable cup holder helps you to keep warm with a hot brew. The large capacity basket will hold up to 4 kg, it can even be removed for cleaning or a quick shake out of sand and dirt, the stop and ride brake sits just in front of the basket in the centre which is shoe friendly making it easy to set and release it. Little one is held securely via the 5-point adjustable harness with soft pads and crotch pads that can be removed for cleaning when necessary. The detachable safety bow can be rotated 360 degrees to make it easier to load a wriggling toddler in and out, it can easily be removed entirely for cleaning too. The tougher materials add more weight to this stroller putting it at about 15kg, it is also quite bulky when folded at 42H x 65W x 75L cm so it’s worth considering the size of your car boot when looking at the XMOOV.
