Veggies and Vegans do not turn away at the name Meat Grinder, this attachment unit can do so much more than just grind up meat. This attachment comes with an improved food grinder attachment, fine (4.5 mm) grinding plate, coarse (6 mm) grinding plate, stainless steel knife and food pusher. This popular attachment is compatible with all the stand mixers no matter what size you own and provides quick mincing, grating and grinding of all sorts of different ingredients. Whether you choose to make meatloaf, falafel, salsa and burgers the grinder will make things easier, the stainless-steel grinding plates grind and mince all the ingredients quickly and evenly. The Meat Grinder can also be used to crumble dry bread or nuts and grate vegetables, fruit, and cheese, it comes with a removable tray and a food pusher, to keep things clean and tidy. When it comes to cleaning the attachment, it can be chucked in the dishwasher with the rest of your cookware so you can enjoy more time eating, less time washing up. When prepping fresh meat and fish it is much easier to handle if the meat is partially frozen, this makes it easier to pass through the grinder. Hard cheese works better than softer cheddar but again it can be popped in the freezer for a bit to firm up before hand, if the cheese or meat becomes softer it can still be ground up it’s just a messier and longer process with the grinder becoming easily clogged. If you are looking to grind up meat every day in large qualities something more industrial would be a better choice, but for home cooking this Meat Grinder is more than capable.
