What made this so embarrassing was that Mike was sitting right in the class. PARTING WORDS: Leaving RHS, the most important things I’ll remember aren’t the test scores, awards, etc.; I will remember the wonderful people. Thus, I would say my greatest achievement out of everything was getting to know many of the amazing people at RHS.

AWARDS: Departmental Awards, Sparkle Award, Solo and Ensemble, Most Likely to be Famous Mock Election Award COLLEGE PLANS: Oakland University; Elementary Education and Special Education in the future FAVORITE TEACHER: Mr. Campbell because I’ve never seen anyone get so genuinely excited about getting shocked, electrocuted and injured for the sake of fizzix. ADVICE: Coming from a small private school knowing almost no one, I promise you it’s possible to make friends. Build friendships, but don’t let the failed friendships get you down. Don’t forget to be spontaneous. Optimism is the secret to life. BUCKET LIST: Meet Queen Beyonce MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: For Annie Get Your Gun I had to be tanned because I’m the palest Mexican alive, and I ended up looking like a straight up orange crayon. Also, at the NHS ceremony this year we presented a princess song and while my friends were in pretty princess costumes I was a Native American in a headdress. Steer clear of Indian costumes… PARTING WORDS: Set your inner Beyonce free. Peace n’ Bessings, y’all, thanks for a rockin’ 4 years!

His class challenged me, and he showed me that as much as I like simply knowing information, I really love learning it. ADVICE: With all of the opportunities you have, high school can be an amazing four years. If you don’t let the classes you take be the only thing that defines who you are, you get to have some incredible experiences and make even better memories. BUCKET LIST: Travel around the world doing one typically “bucket list” thing in each country (like skydiving, eating at famous restaurant, or visiting the wonders of the world). MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: September was almost over, and I was running out to the bus thinking about how proud I was that I hadn’t tripped. Because I was focused on that and not on the stairs, I completely wiped out and slid down the entire flight of steps by the bus loop. The worst part was that I was carrying my lunch box and a textbook, and both went flying and hit a group of senior guys who were walking down the stairs next to me. It was a miracle I came back to school the next day. PARTING WORDS: Carpe diem and all that.

MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: When Mike Murri told the whole school I was going to sing the alma mater at the Crosstown Showdown pep assembly. PARTING WORDS: I like to think I’ve come a long way since my freshman year whenI didn’t know a single person, and I’m so thankful for ending up at Rochester and meeting the people I have. I wouldn’t have it any other way! I better see you all at every class reunion, seriously.

AWARDS: Departmental Honors COLLEGE PLANS: Michigan State University; Pre-Med FAVORITE TEACHER: Mrs. Slomka for her sense of humor and being a great Anatomy teacher ADVICE: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” BUCKET LIST: Learn how to tie a knot in a cherry stem using my tongue MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: Saying “Please stand for the national anthem” on the announcements rather than pledge of allegiance. In my defense, we don’t have a pledge in CANADA. PARTING WORDS: Don’t wait for things to happen. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. You’ve got to live each moment to the fullest cause you never know if you’ll get that chance again.

ADVICE: Step outside your comfort zone and meet new people. There are so many great people outside your traditional clique that you’ll miss out on a lot of good people. Don’t just wait until your senior year to get to know your class. Go to the plays, go join the SOF, try a sport, or join a club that you know nothing about. High school can be a miserable place but if you make the best of it, it can be a really good time. BUCKET LIST: I’d like to attend every major music festival worldwide. MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: Going to Sydney Kerre’s house to ask her to Homecoming then having Rayan and Sydney come to the door (He asked her). PARTING WORDS: I would like to thank all of my family, friends, coaches, and teachers of the past four years. It has been quite enjoyable. Stay tropical my friends, stay tropical.

ADVICE: Find your balance; never be too absorbed in a single aspect of High School, whether it is academics, sports, social life, etc. By the end of your senior year, you’ll look back, and be thankful that you expanded your comfort zone. BUCKET LIST: Living in another country would be cool. I might do that. MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: When I thought the Sadie Hawkins dance was at the school, but it was really at an offsite location and had to call my mom to come pick me up (all for a promotional video). But if we’re being real, I probably wore some poorly chosen outfits back in the day. PARTING WORDS: Looking back on my freshman year, I was an entirely different person. I had different values, participated in different activities, and had no idea where I would be in the future. I could never have guessed that four years later, I’d be named a Top Senior. Thank you to my friends, teachers, and family for making my high school experience so memorable.

AWARDS: Varsity Golf (2013/2014) OAA All-League,Varsity Basketball (2013-2014) League, District and Regional Champion, Team MVP (2013-2014), Executive Board Treasurer, Departmental Honors COLLEGE PLANS: Michigan State University where I plan to study Finance FAVORITE TEACHER: Mr. Vernon because he keeps it real with his students and players. I respect him as a teacher, coach and a man. ADVICE: Get involved with as many activities as possible! You will enjoy coming to school and meet so many new people. MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: Back in 6th grade I accidentally wore my sister’s jeans to school... Not only were they tight, but a bejeweled butterfly was embroidered across the butt. Let’s just say it wasn’t my favorite day of school through the years. PARTING WORDS: The past four years have been the best of my life. The friendships and memories I made at this school will last me a lifetime. I am a proud falcon and always will be! Stay classy Rochester.

BUCKET LIST: I could die happy if I got the chance to go to a World Cup Final game MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: Definitely wearing my 8th grade sister’s running shorts to the dodgeball tournament this year PARTING WORDS: Hardly anything changes day by day, but when I take a look at the big picture and see how much has changed over the last 4 years, I realize that my time at Rochester was worth more than I could’ve asked for, and I will keep these memories forever.

FUTURE Plans: James Madison Honors College at Michigan State University PARTING WORDS: High school has been a roller coaster of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without the people who understand me best- my choir and theater families. You guys have always given me a place to be myself and not be ashamed of it. Thank you guys. Love to you all. Advice: Live in the moment and stop to smell the roses. It’s definitely important to consider the future and how your decisions today will affect your life tomorrow, but if you don’t enjoy the little things and each day for what it is, life will be a big blur of planning and worrying for nothing.

Talent will not; nothing sounds and smell colors. It is a place where is more common than unsuccessful men with beautiful women endlessly flock to you talent. ADVICE: Pay attention, don’t walk slow, eat your vegetables, try not to be a complete and utter idiot, and most importantly, if in a pickle, remember that the profit maximizing quantity occurs when marginal cost equals marginal revenue.
