An exceptional auction of the favorite fashion icon of the mid1950s, Cissy by Alexander, with superb examples from the private collection of Kathryn DeFillipo, Merle Glickman, and others. 20” (51 cm.) Light brown hair with short curly bangs, and arranged clusters of curls on crown and nape of neck. Wearing lilac taffeta dress with double-box-pleated skirt, separate jacket with rolled collar, shaded blue flowers at bodice, pink taffeta can-can petticoat with pink flowers, panties, stockings, shoes, large bowl-shaped lilac opentop woven hat with a garland of shaded lilac and white flowers, pearls, pearl earrings, amethyst bracelet, ring, and Lucite handbag containing a matching floral corsage. 2. Wendy-Kins with Rare Coiffure “Dressed in a Charming Frock”, 1960

8” (20 cm.) Golden blonde hair pulled away from bangs into a cluster of curls at her crown, bent-leg walking-style body. Wearing white sundress with rick-rack trim at neck and arms, and a border of lilac and golden flowers with open flaps for holding little clusters of actual flowers,
