THE BAILLIE VEIL, generously supported by Charles and Marilyn Baillie, floats above Koerner Hall. Evoking a musical instrument, it has been internationally acclaimed for its extraordinary beauty as well as its acoustical excellence. The unique design creates a stunning sculptural display for audiences to enjoy and it has become a distinctive feature in many of The Royal Conservatory’s print and electronic materials, which feature stylized graphic representations of the magnificent Baillie Veil.

Friday, April 28, 2017 8pm | KH A Canadian all-star evening of chamber music featuring pianist Jon Kimura Parker, violinist Martin Beaver, and cellist Clive Greensmith. The trio will play Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1 and will be joined by Barry Shiffman, Allyson McHardy, Erika Raum, Desmond Hoebig, Teng Li, and Sharon Wei to perform Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence and Brahms’s Alto Songs.
