SEASON SPONSOR

Welcome to the 2018.19 Concert Season KOERNER HALL 10TH ANNIVERSARY! SEASON SPONSOR

THE BAILLIE VEIL, generously supported by Charles and Marilyn Baillie, floats above Koerner Hall. Evoking a musical instrument, it has been internationally acclaimed for its extraordinary beauty as well as its acoustical excellence. The unique design creates a stunning sculptural display for audiences to enjoy and it has become a distinctive feature in many of The Royal Conservatory’s print and electronic materials, which feature stylized graphic representations of the magnificent Baillie Veil.

This year we are thrilled to celebrate everything that Koerner Hall has become to our city, to you our audiences, to our supporters, to our local communities, and to our faculty, students and staff. As you will see, the 10th anniversary concert season features extraordinary international artists, special festivals, new dates for our 21C Music Festival, and inspiring performances by our superb students and world-renowned faculty. The Conservatory is marking Koerner Hall’s 10th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of The Glenn Gould School with Resounding! The Campaign for The Royal Conservatory, which celebrates and supports excellence in performance and learning. Your support of the Fund for Koerner Hall will enable us to continue to present signature Koerner Hall programming that brings the world’s leading artists to you and to build upon The Conservatory’s 132-year legacy of transforming individuals and shaping societies through the power of music.
