2023 Sales Report


R

eflecting on the accomplishments of 2023, we are delighted to present the sales and marketing success of The Santa Lucia Preserve.

The Santa Lucia Preserve saw both a historic home sale and a notable decrease in overall real estate sales influenced by low inventory, a reduction in transactions in the region, and barriers related to the cost and availability of fire insurance. Community build-out continues at record levels as a result of the past several years of sales growth. Membership sales exceeded expectations with The Preserve welcoming 15 new members to The Preserve Golf Club and 7 new members to The Ranch Club, along with several existing members upgrading their memberships in order to add additional benefits to their experience. This past year we also implemented several initiatives focused on enhancing community-building and communications within The Preserve. Members, owners, and staff connected through various events such as “Food for Thought” Dinners, Weekly informal chats at The Nest Coffee House with the Executive Team, a well-attended Community Appreciation Mixer in July, and a Community Appreciation Lunch following the State of The Preserve meeting in December. We look forward to additional opportunities to enhance connections, cultivating a familiar and friendly environment for our members and owners this year. Our gratitude goes to the members, owners, staff, and local real estate community whose contributions led to the success of The Preserve in 2023 and we look forward to our continued partnerships in 2024.

Membership at The Ranch Club includes access to lodging, dining, nearly 100 miles of private hiking trails, Sports Center, fitness and wellness programming, swimming pools, 18-acre Moore's Lake and glamping tents, full-service Equestrian Center, schedule of treasured annual social events, kids camps, and concierge services.

Membership at The Preserve Golf Club includes access to a 365-acre, Tom Fazio designed golf course, practice facilities, unlimited rounds of golf, tournaments, social events, dining, one-on-one golf instruction and group clinics, golf camps for kids, and a well-appointed clubhouse and locker rooms with spa-like amenities and massage services.

We are pleased to share that The Ranch Club recently incorporated an additional membership offering, “Ranch Social”, which provides the limited opportunity to join The Ranch Club without property ownership or membership at The Preserve Golf Club. Highlights of this non-proprietary membership include: Nearly 100 miles of private hiking and riding trails Equestrian Center privileges, including boarding services and horse care Sports Center with full access to fitness and wellness programming Swimming Pools, hot tub, and 2-story water slide Tennis and pickleball 18-acre Moore's Lake with paddle sports & glamping Lodging and dining Full calendar of planned events, activities and summer camps
