SEPT/OCT 2018
Edito Dear readers, September is a new beginning for everyone: a new season, halloween and thanksgiving are coming... It's also a change for the SATURNE team who is releasing the biggest issue we've ever done. On the occasion of this new issue, we had the chance to meet new people, including Heather Koepp, a talented photographer or Shaina Feldman, an incredible stylist. Another change for us is the fact that we have embarked on the organization of photoshoots with the various talents of this issue, with Heather who was the photographer on the four projects and Shaina the stylist on 3 of 4. Thank you again to all the teams who was here on each photoshoots (all their names will appear on the publication) without which these photoshoots wouldn't have been possible. And a last little thing, SATURNE Magazine will be now exclusively in english, so that your reading can be easier. We are so happy with the path we have traveled and we want to thank you, readers, but also all the people who was behind us since the beginning of this adventure. Thanks also to our new readers who are joining us, we hope you'll like the magazine. Our social medias are totally open so don't hesitate to send us a message to help us improve the magazine, to tell us who you would want to see in it, etc. Also, if you want to be featured on the magazine, you just have to send us an email with your artwork and we'll be back to you as soon as possible. We still have a long way to go with you and we are already sincerely honored with the one we have already done. Thank you for your patience and your enthusiasm. We hope you'll like the issue. Lindsey Morgan Lindsey Morgan is an American actress. After discovering her passion for the performing arts, she made the choice to move to Los Angeles to start her career as an actress. In 2011, she appeared in the movie Detention, in the guise of Alexis Spencer, a high school cheerleader. After some figurations, and a role on ABC's Alliances and Betrayals , she's being contacted by the CW to camp one of the recurring characters of the series The 100. In the skin of Raven Reyes, she is a mechanic sent to Earth to help the 100 young survivors. You are the ambassador of the Active Minds Foundation. Can you tell us more about that? Active Minds is a foundation that is built in college and college campuses. It’s just about spreading mental health awareness and resources for student on campus who feel they can benefit from it, you know talking about mental health and really trying to end the stigma surround it, so it provides student and features and anyone who need resources or health at that moment and/or somewhere to go.
Why was it important for you to become the ambassador of this foundation? It was really important for me to be a part of this foundation because I really believed in the work they were doing and I think college especially is a very hard time period, it’s like an age time period for all people, I think, you know that’s when we are on the brink of adulthood and we are growing and things are very confusing and very stressful and it resonated with me because of my own personal journey and being at that age and feeling alone or feeling scared and anxious with the future and feeling lost, so I think that was a big draw to me. I basically wanted to be a part of something that I wish I had when I was that age, when I was young, a program like active minds that I could go to if I felt the need to in college. Active minds is also a very important foundation for me regardless for personal reasons, from family history to my own personal history. I’ve been prone to being depressed and having anxiety and you know it’s not an easy place to be and the worst part about it is when you’re depressed
saturnemagazine - 9
right ?! I feel like you know you’re in the hole of depression, you feel like you’re all alone and you can’t get out, and put more emphasis on healing people and healing all of ourselves when we are dark places, then the next time you are feeling sad or you are feeling depressed, you can’t get ass deep into the hole because you know there’s people that support you, love you and you know you feel free to talk about it, you don’t feel ashamed so I think the more we talk about it then we can end the stigma and we can hopefully help a lot of people. Speaking of mental health, your character Raven suffered a lot in the tv show The 100. How did you manage to get into the character and what did your character bring or thaugh you personally? I feel like, a lot of times, we draw characters from different people and part of ourselves, so I feel like Raven has certain parts of me like you know when I’m competing or working out I can be very aggressive like when playing sports or activity, I feel like she has that kind of fire in her and also I really enjoy science, I like figuring things out, I like learning so you know she also has that genius kind of curiosity and ability to put puzzles together and it goes really quickly so I always turn up those aspects of myself when I play her but also just like you know I was inspired buy other characters like Kate for “lost”, a lot of Michelle Rodrigues,
10
I was inspired by her and other people I’ve seen and you know I would want Raven to feel like anything the boys could do she could do better so that was a big part of it for me, I really started working out and in the beginning I would do CrossFit which is a lot of weigh and heavy lifting and running and a very kind of what people would feel like a male centered workout you know it’s not Pilates, it’s not class or anything and just in way I use my body. I found this kind of power in her that I really like and felt right for her, so sometimes if I’m trying to get into her and I’m having issues, I’ll just start doing push-ups. She has that aggression and she has that strength so when I activate that in my body, I feel it. What do you have in common with Raven and what are your differences with her? Like I said I turn up the volume in me when I'm playing her and I’m very competitive, I’m very athletic and I do think I’m pretty smart, I love learning, I’m also very stubborn, I really like doing things on my own and I really like learning things on my own, i don’t like asking for help ever and it frustrates like all my friends but I just hate it so I feel like all that we have in common. You know Raven is always trying to do the right thing you know and I’m also that way. I feel that I would always, if i was down, be able to surviving. I would sacrifice myself for the right thing to do so I feel like we have that I common.

Seeing the last episodes of season 5. They’re has been a kiss between Raven and Zeke. Do you think it will allow Raven to have a happier future? Yeah!! you know, I hope so but this is The 100 so you never know! What would you like to explore more in your character in the next season? I would love for Raven to be bad, I would like for her to have some villain, something villain inside her, that would be kind of cool but I feel like we never really done that with her, I think that it would be kind of interesting, kind of like Octavia went really bad this season, it would be kind of cool if Raven had that. We can notice that the cast of The 100 is very close. Can you tell us a funny BTS? We’re all super close, I basically lived with Tasya and Jarod this summer in Los Angeles and we all went to Morocco with Sachin and some other friends like two weeks ago, we’re all very close and love each other and you know we really enjoy being around each other, and have almost too good of a time on set where it’s like we need to stop playing around and start to focus more. Can you tell us more about your new project summertime, coming out soon? Summertime just premiered at the Tribeca film festival and they’re figuring out where they want to get next but it's a movie placed around 1983
that was written and directed by Edward Burns and it’s about his life in the summer between graduating high school and going to college so it’s a really sweet story of four couples just living where Ed lived in Long Island on the beach and you know being in love in the summer. It’s really beautiful and it’s very sweet and heart warming. I play a character named Debby Espinoza who is based on a real person and she is very different from Raven. She is woman very empowered in her sexuality and who loves a good time and loves to have fun. In which tv show or movie would you like to play and why? I’d love to be batgirl or bat woman. Just because you know, I feel like they’re so many part of this character that are me and you know, I feel like I’m always trying to do the right thing and stand up for people, do good things in the world and I feel like you have to be kind of good person to be a superhero and also you know the physical aspect, I love stunts, I love being active, I love fighting, I'm doing Kik Box. I feel like I’m very strong in that sens, I feel like I’m very capable, I kind of hate when we see like female super heroes and they are very very thin and there is no muscle and I’m like how are they gonna beat up a guy. So I feel like I could bring that to the table in a very believable way and also the character batgirl is from what I know kind of sarcastic and sassy and that’s pretty much me for those who know me, I feel like it would be such a fun role, fun for me to explore.

Sara Thompson PHOTOGRAPHY BY ALEX VIELFAURE
Performing since she was three, Sara Thompson is a versatile and natural talent. Her quick wit and keen sense of humour brings light to each role she portrays. Sara’s extraordinary energy can be seen in Kristin Kreuk’s "Burden of Truth" Sara has appeared in a number of films with two features coming out this year. She can be seen in MAKE IT HAPPEN and LOVESICK starring Jay Baruchel. This October, Sara plays Janine in the postapocalyptic thriller I STILL SEE YOU alongside Bella Thorne. She can also be seen in NOMIS, premiering this winter, as Julie, a victim of an extremely troubled man, alongside Sir Ben Kingsley and Henry Cavill. . . . . . Can you tell us a little bit about your role as Molly in "Burden of Truth" and your experience working on the series? Molly is a fun loving and very driven young woman with a passion for sports. She is also a star athlete and has been her whole life. Unfortunately, she faces a mysterious illness that has begun to break out among some girls in the small town of Millwood. When Molly begins to deal with symptoms such as seizures, fainting and twitching, her life changes drastically and she grapples with giving up her dreams of becoming a professional athlete. Luckily, her uncle Billy—a lawyer working on the sick girl case—and her girlfriend Luna are there to help her cope with her new reality.
Working on both season one and season two of Burden of Truth has been an absolute pleasure. Working with people that I look up to such as Kristen Kreuk as well as actors I’ve grown up alongside such as Star Slade and Anwen O’Driscoll has been the experience of a lifetime. I will forever cherish the bonds I was able to build with the people I worked with. It felt more like going to play than it felt like going to work everyday! What are the similarities and differences between you and Molly? Molly and I have had a very similar journey as I grew up dancing and was then diagnosed with epilepsy. I had to deal with what that meant as well as change the course of the life path I was on. Like Molly, I had a very hard time coming to terms with my reality and was in denial for quite some time. I couldn't understand how everything—my WHOLE life—could change in just one moment. However tough, just like Molly I made it work and I found my people and my coping mechanisms. Through the love and support of my family and relationships I found a light amidst all the darkness. Unlike Molly I do not (and never did) play sports… that was an awesome challenge for me and it was quite fun to train in soccer for a while. It made me feel a lot closer to my character.

Tell us a little bit about your projects I STILL SEE YOU and NOMIS. I STILL SEE YOU is a post-apocalyptic supernatural thriller set ten years after “The Event” which left the world haunted by ghosts. Alongside Bella Thorne (Roni), Richard Harmon (Kirk) and Dermot Mulroney (Mr. Bitner), I play Janine, Roni’s childhood best friend. Janine acts as the—dare I say—comic relief in a dark story. Janine cares more about Roni’s love life than the possible ghost out to get her. Another exciting project that I am honoured to be a part of is NOMIS with Sir Ben Kingsley, Henry Cavill, Alexandra Daddario and many other insanely talented actors. I play Julie, a victim of abduction. Do you have any upcoming projects you are able to share with us? I just finished filming such a fun horror movie called HOMECOMING starring Richard Harmon. It is the story of three friends who return to Rodger’s (Richard Harmon) childhood home and learn that not all is as it seems… There is a very interesting dynamic between the three of us: my character Beth (Rodger’s girlfriend) and his childhood best girlfriend Jordan constantly fight for Rodger’s attention in a time where he can’t seem to do anything right.
20
The three of us became inseparable during filming and I can honestly say it has been one of my favourite projects I've worked on. What do you like most and least about being an actress? Being on set is 100 percent what I like most about being an actor. Creating and playing all day… I couldn't ask for anything else! I also love all of the talented and interesting people I get exposure to and connect with. I consider myself very fortunate being able to meet like-minded people along the way and I appreciate the opportunity to find qualities in them that I admire and respect and try to emulate. My least favourite part would have to be either the uncertainty of what or when my next job will be. Though I do somewhat enjoy the constant wondering—it leaves me hungry and not bored. It just feels like when it rains it pours, feast or famine. It can get extremely hectic at times and at other times it may be the complete opposite. I suppose it is during those quieter times that I have time to do other creative things and spend time with my family. That is a tough question, I don’t really know. Night shoots maybe? Even then those can be fun. I think with every negative there is still a positive really.

If you could be in any film or series what would it be? There are MANY shows and films I would loved to have been involved with. I especially appreciate films with storylines that are heavily based on the evolution of a relationship, such as Blue Valentine, The Notebook, Like Crazy, etc. However, I do think that the reason I love these films so much has a lot to do with the people in them and the chemistry between them! I would also love to do more period pieces, there is something to be said with the amount of work it takes from every single person on set to transform us into a different time…it would be a true challenge. Also, I would like to be involved in some serious comedy (oxymoron only slightly intended). I’m talkin’ Jonah Hill, Seth Rogan and Paul Rudd’s younger sister? Maybe? I love the idea of playing someone with artificial intelligence, like Westworld. And who doesn’t love the idea of playing some kind of Disney Princess? Would you have become a dancer if you had not become an actress? I honestly don't know… Probably not.. I always struggled with what I would do as a dancer. All of the jobs seemed like they weren't for me. To be honest (and I say this all the time) if i wasn't doing this, I have no idea what the heck I would be doing! At least at this point in my life I can honestly say there is nothing else I would rather do.
Do you have causes that are important to you that you would like to talk about? I make a huge effort to be involved with mental health organizations as I feel all of us struggle with our mental health at some point in our lives. Ever since I was 14 I had been very involved with the idea of doing something to help young women feel better every day. However, there is definitely a line between wanting to do something and actually doing something, and I wasn’t sure what a 14 year old kid could do! I was dancing heavily at the time and had the opportunity to create a spoken word piece about bullying. At the time I had no idea where it would take me, and all I knew was that it was high important to me. Initially the piece was for myself as somewhat of a coping mechanism. But when several women began relating to it and sharing their story with me, I realized the effect it had and I decided to write and record my own piece! After that, I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to perform it all over the world. The result was amazing. I was able to hear the stories of other girls and I realized that I had helped them by creating my piece. That they could relate through my movement and work really inspired me.
I got involved with an organization called “The Orange Daisy Project” which is an online space for young women to visit that offers information and mental health support. I go on school tours with The Orange Daisy Project too. The organization uses creative outputs like dancing, acting and the arts to help girls connect with others, and find the light that they deserve out of the darkness of mental health struggles.

You play on the shows DIRT and Total Eclipse. Can you tell us about these shows? Sure! Total eclipse is a young teen show that explores young girls imaginations. And Dirt is kind of like the Friday Night Lights of Motorcross. So there’s lots of love triangles and drama! DIRT and Total Eclipse came both out on 2018. 2018 seems to be a year full of opportunities. What does represent to you? Well I’m very grateful for these incredible opportunities because they’ve allowed me to find what I’m truly passionate about. And I’ve learned so much from them and I’ve loved it every step of them way! Do you have others projects coming soon? Yes! I produced and acted in a short film called “Cidiots” which is currently in post production. I’m also working on a screenplay and editing a fiction book I wrote! What is the biggest goal you would like to achieve? Wow that’s a loaded question! Right now, my biggest goal and dream would be seeing my screenplay come to life. But in the future, I would love to travel to all different places to help people around the world. A Tv Show you would love to be in? Riverdale, Stranger Things, or Game of Thrones. I’d love to do something set in a different time period, especially the 80s cause
I love that kind of music! And Game of Thrones just has the COOLEST costumes! What do you like the most on being an actress? Definitely my favorite part is being able to become a completely new person. You get to “experience” all these crazy things and get in touch with all new emotions. You used to be a dancer. How the passion of dancing became a thing for you? I’ve been dancing since I was a little girl and I’ve loved it ever since. I loved being able to express my emotions in such a beautiful way. It was kind of like an escape for me. Can you tell us about Positively Socials and why you all created this organization? Yes! It’s a non profit organization that covers cyber bullying and how to correctly use social media. Social media is so new and none of us really know how powerful it is, so a lot of time people abuse it. So we are just trying to prevent that! At 15years old, you have already more than 1million followers on Instagram and many fans accounts. How do you get to manage that? It’s insane! I can’t even comprehend it. It’s hard when you’re under the public eye and people mistake your Instagram for your entire life. But all in all, I’m so grateful to have a platform to do my best to educate kids and spread as much positivity as possible!

Rafael De La Fuente PHOTOGRAPHY BY DAVID RAMS STYLING BY FATIYHA JOHNSON
The Venezuelan Rafael de la Fuente begins his career through the famous telenovelas of his native country, such as Mas sabe el diablo and Aurora. He joins the Sharks swimming team as Diego Forlan in the comedy and fantasy series Grachi. It aired on Nickelodeon in Latin America and becomes the charm of the series until 2013. The American writers of Every Witch Day, also known as Teen Witch and to be the remake of Grachi, are also seduced by Rafael and offers him the role of Julio, the US version of Diego. Actor but also singer, the general public discovers him in the American drama and musical series diffused on Fox, Empire. The first two seasons reveal him as Michael Sanchez, boyfriend of Jamal Lyon, the heir to the famous Lucious and Cookie. 2017 is a great year for Rafael de la Fuente. Barely 30 years old, the South American is part of the American Horror Story guests playing the role of the picnic victim in the first episode of season 7: Cult. He is then approached to participate in the reboot of the flagship series of 80's: Dynasty. In this updated adaptation, he plays Sam Jones, the male and gay equivalent of Sammy Jo, originally played by Heather Locklear. Nephew a striker of the new wife of Blake Carrington, the young man moved into the mansion of this powerful family in the hope of getting closer to the homosexual son, Steven. Very quickly, he will try to find a place within the clan. Š Laura Alliche
saturnemagazine - 39
What can you tell us about your character Sammy Jo, you play on the show DYNASTY? Sam "Sammy Jo" Josiah Jones is a cheeky-butkind, not-always-well-behaved, sometimes-snarky, good-bad boy. In the first episode of the show, he crashes his aunt’s (Celia Machado AKA “Cristal Flores”) wedding to billionaire Blake Carrington after having a one-night stand with Steven Carrington (Blake’s son) and quickly moves into the manor to stir the pot. Throughout the season we realize Sam isn’t just trying benefit from the wealth of the Carringtons (though he luxuriates in it), but he’s actually a deeply wounded man who is a survivor of abuse who had to find a way to escape his country and his own messed up family dynamic. Despite his hardships (or maybe because of them), his optimism is relentless, his heart is huge, and we come to learn he cares more about others than it initially appeared. What do you like the most by playing Sammy Jo on the show? I like the wide range of scenes I get. I get a lot of comedy, but also grounded dramatic moments. As an actor, that’s the kind of “meat on the bone” you want when you get a script. I also love playing a character that is a triple minority. He’s gay, he’s an immigrant, and he's Latino. Our writers have been able to bring subject matters to the table that are very relevant and important like geopolitics (the Venezuelan crisis), humanizing immigrants and
40
also giving visibility to the LGBTQ community. Through playing Sam I get to be a part of this and it makes me very happy and proud. What do you expect from your character in season 2? How do you think he’ll evolve? There’s huge life changing events for Sam in the beginning of this season that are definitely going to shift his perspective and give him more of a need to “grow up”. This doesn’t necessarily mean his lighthearted nature will change but his priorities might. I’m eager to see what journey our writers take Sammy on this season. In what ways is the reboot different from the original from the 80’s? Times have changed so our reboot had to be reimagined into a more evolved version of the beloved classic. The main word I would use is “diversity”. Inclusion and diversity have been the major focus points of this reboot. The Colbys are black, Cristal is a Latina immigrant, Steven is openly gay, SammyJo is an openly gay Latino immigrant, etc. Storylines that perhaps were ignorant and not up to today’s standards have been cut out, making the show not only more socially-conscious and inclusive, but in my own opinion a more interesting and accurate reflection of what the world really looks like. All in the opulent, heightened, delicious, campy wrapping of the original primetime soap.
saturnemagazine - 41

Your character was played by Heather Locklear in the 80s version. Have you tried to get inspired by her to play your character or did you try to create someone new? Heather was just so divine in the original and I’ve really enjoyed going back and watching her work. Who wouldn’t be inspired by her? I have, though, tried to create a character that stands on its own. Yes, the core of the characters started as the same, but the backgrounds from which these characters come from is so different that we couldn’t compare them or could I “mold” my Sammy off of her’s. Different but still fabulous. Before Dynasty, you played Michael Sanchez, on the Tv Show Empire. This character was your first experience in a LGBT role and today you play an other LGBT role on Dynasty. Do you feel any pressure by representing this community on television? Just because both of the characters are gay it doesn’t automatically make them similar. There are infinite personality types within the gay male community just like there are different kinds of straight guys. Sexuality is just one of the many layers a person has and that is something that as a society we must understand. I’m not just playing “the gay character”, I’m playing a man who happens to be gay, but also an immigrant, hispanic, victim of abuse, who has a huge heart
and endless optimism. As far as the social implication of playing a homosexual man, I feel very proud and honored to be representing the LGBTQ community under a fair and honest light that is, again, layered and not monotone and/or stereotypical. I feel no pressure, only privilege and pride. You also sing and have released several covers. Would you like your career to evolve in the music industry? I want music and singing to always be a part of my life and career. I’d love to do Broadway at some point and movie musicals too. I have thought of putting an acoustic show together and do a few dates in LA/NY/MIA. As far as a recording career, I’m not currently pursuing it but I’d be lying if I hadn’t thought about it. I have been so laserfocused on acting that I haven’t put the necessary focus and energy into it but maybe in the near future I will...I have some ideas. Do you have other projects coming this year or maybe later? I have a couple of independent films coming out later this year but no exact date yet. One is a Spanish-language comedy I shot in LA in 2016 and the other one a horror film I shot that same year in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I will be shooting season two of Dynasty for the rest of the year and beginning of the next.

Emily Skinner PHOTOGRAPHY BY HEATHER KOEPP STYLING BY NERY RODRIGUEZ MAKEUP BY HALI MC GOWAN HAIR BY SUZE BALDERAS
Emily Skinner is 15 years old american actress. She became well known of the public for her appearances on Sam & Cat and regular roles on the Disney series Andi Mack & the Brat web series Total Eclipse. She has been a guest on series like We Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, Criminal Minds, The Mindy Project and Shake It Up. She was cast to star in the 2019 film Next Level.
back story and creating different ways to play them. Each time I play a villain, I spend time learning about the character so that I do her justice by showing all of her layers. Villains are usually multi dimensional characters and I feel like if I am not able to show all aspects of who they are, then I am letting my character down. The other thing I love about playing a villain is getting to journey through her redemption arc, if she is given one. Sometimes, but not always, villains learn, grow, change, and soften with time. Other times they become more villainous and hardened. Both journeys are exciting to portray and play!
What do you like the most in playing Amber on Andi Mack? I love playing Amber because I love the challenge of playing complicated characters who evolve and grow as the show progresses.
How are you similar to your character Amber and how are you different? I get this question a lot. To connect with a character I think you first have to see them as human. Amber is actually very human. She is vulnerable and insecure and has placed huge walls around herself to hide that reality from others. She controls others in order to protect herself. She likes others to view her life as perfect and is scared to let them know that in reality it is far from that.
What it’s like to play a villain? Villains are always fun characters to play because they typically have a lot more going on than meets the eye. There are so many different types of villains and I love figuring out each character’s
saturnemagazine - 47
Amber is actually very lonely because no one really knows her. But Terri, being the amazing writer that she is, also makes Amber strong, resilient, and unafraid to stand up for what she believes in. I am so proud of Amber for holding down a job to help her family, embracing Andi and Jonah as a couple, and trying to open up to Bex, Andi, and now Cyrus and Buffy. So how do I connect to Amber? Well, I too have felt insecure. At times, I too have felt lonely. I think everyone wants amazing, truthful, transparent friendships like The Good Hair crew has; so it's easy to identify with Amber's wanting to have a friendship like that. I can also identify with Amber having a tough time letting her walls down and trusting people to love the real her. I am not, however, controlling, outspoken, or the leader of any popular girl group. So while I am able to channel Amber's more difficult side, I am far from that in real life.
48
Have you become friends with your Andi Mack co-stars? What do you like to do together on and off set? Yes! I actually adore each and every one of them! I feel like we can do anything together and it is always fun! I just enjoy being with them and am always so excited when I get to fly out to Utah to shoot an episode because I know that I get to see all of them! We like to go out for ice cream or dinner, swim, go to movies, hike, go bowling, and go roller skating. The cast is really amazing! How did you become passionate about acting? I kind of fell into it, I guess. I lived my entire early childhood playing make believe. My sister and I had a huge bin of costumes and I would dress up and pretend play all day long. I remember we would go to the Target after halloween sales and my mom would buy all sorts of funny and unique costumes for me to add to my make believe bin.
I was very shy back then, so I think that a make believe world felt safe for me. My mom tried to put me in youth sports and early mommy and me type classes, but I refused to do any of them. Apparently, I would just sit in her lap and shake my head when she tried to get me to participate. When I was 6 1/2 or 7 she put me in a community acting class because she knew I loved pretend play and she thought it would help me to work through some of my shyness. I LOVED it and my coach eventually pulled my mom aside and asked her to take me up to Hollywood to meet with an agent friend of his. I ended up signing on with that agency and that is how I started in the industry. If you weren't an actress, what would you do? I honestly don't know. I can't imagine not being an actress. If I wasn't doing film and TV, I would want to try theatre acting? I haven't ever done that but it looks like so much fun!!
What kind of TV show would you most like to book? First of all I want to just say that I couldn't be a part of a more amazing and progressive show than Andi Mack. Terri Minsky is an amazing storyteller whose show has already received a TV academy honor and a GLAD media award, and is currently nominated for a Cinopsis Imagination Award. So I have to start by saying that being cast on Andi Mack was a dream come true for me! As far as the future goes, I love action adventure or science fiction type shows like Stranger Things or Marvel type movies! But I also love dramatic shows like Gossip Girl, Riverdale, Pretty Little Liars... so I guess I would love to book either of these types of shows. You are very popular on social media’s. How do you get to manage this? My numbers have grown from Andi Mack

and Total Eclipse. I have had to try and figure out how best to manage my social media because it wasn't something I actually ever thought much about before booking Andi Mack. Although I have been in the industry since I was little, I wasn't even allowed to have an private instagram until I was 12, and then I went public when I was 13. For me, it was always about the acting. I actually never really thought anyone would be interested in my personal life. But I have always run my own social media. One thing I am very adamant about is that it be my voice and the photos be my choice. I hope that I come across positive and encouraging on social media. I hope that I adequately show my followers how much I love each and every one of them and that our generation needs to stand up and show the world how to love each other, accept each other, and live together peacefully. Although I play a lot of "mean girl/frenemy" roles, I honestly don't understand hate and I want to always be a good female role model. Do you have a cause you are involved in and want to talk about? I have supported many different charities/causes. I feel like those closest to my heart are anti-bullying charities, children's hospitals, and homeless youth.

Richard Harmon PHOTOGRAPHY BY KYLA HEMMELGARN
Richard Harmon is a Canadian actor. In 2010, he becomes one of the recurring characters of the fantastic Tower Prep program, in which he plays Ray Snider, a teenager with exceptional gifts. A year later, he is the headliner of the dramatic Judas Kiss, he is also in the terrifying Grave Encounters 2 and features as Jasper Ames, Rosie's ex-boyfriend in The Killing. After that, the actor plays in several things before getting his role as John Murphy in CW's The 100, in 2014. He's part of the main characters since the season 3 now.
If it was possible, what would you change about Murphy? Now that I've brought him through his redemption arc, I have this little desire in me to bring that poison back out in him. I think that'd keep the audience on their toes. Murphy, at his worst, is when he's at his best: he's capable of getting whatever he wants. I kinda miss that version of him. There’s no doubt that this old him still resides inside of him. Under the right circumstances, he will come out.
You've been on The 100 for 5 years now. What do you like the most playing John Murphy? It's so hard to believe it’s been five years now, heading into six. There's a million things I love about playing John Murphy. With a character like him, I find I can do almost anything and have it be believable, because he's so all over the map in his morality. I do have to say maybe my favorite thing about playing him now is getting to work with some of my closest friends after six years.
The writers are actually working on the season 6 of The 100. What do you expect from this new season, compared to your character and the tv show in general? I have no clue what to expect yet as far as specifics are concerned, but I think they'll do what we've been doing for years: take the show you thought you knew, and completely flip it on its head. The writers are terrific at keeping it fresh.
Do you like how your character has evolved? Absolutely, to take a character that was so off the deep end and widely hated by the audience, and turn him into someone they love was one of the greatest challenges of my career so far. I'm always excited to see what he's going to do next.

If The 100’s world would be real, what would be your reaction about living there? I wouldn't like it. Right off the bat, all my favorite restaurants would be closed. That might be enough alone to send me off on a murderous rampage. So, for the safety of the rest of you, let's pray that doesn't happen.

Can you tell us more about your experience of being in Thailand at Koh Tao Primary school? It was incredible, getting to go there with people I love and meet these awesome kids was so much fun. I had a little too much fun, the teachers had to separate William Miller and myself on a few occasions. We weren’t allowed to sit together. Also, big deal meeting Johnny McG, the largest felt shark hat distributor in the North West. Do you any other projects coming soon? I do! "I Still See You", a movie I did with an incredible group of people including Bella Thorne, comes out on October 12th! I think that’s going to be a lot of fun for the audience. Then, I have a few other projects coming out this year and next, including three features: "Crypto", "Homecoming", and "Anderson Falls" which I'm currently filming in LA. You play in both movies and tv shows. Which one do you like the most and why? I could never choose between the two. They're two very different processes. As an actor, when you do a feature film, you know exactly where the character is headed and what their journey is. This allows you to plan ahead much further than TV which is often week to week: you have no clue where you're headed, which is challenging and fun in it's own way. A thing you have learned from your career at the moment? I'm constantly learning from it, since currently it is the the biggest part of my life. The one that always stands out, and I make sure I remind myself of, is that it could all be gone at any time. I never could have dreamed that I would have the career that I have, so I make sure I cherish every day on set and the amazing people that I get to spend my time with.
Some fans’ questions Have you always wanted to act? if yes what or who gave you the interest to be an actor ? I've been acting since I was ten years old, but it was when I was fifteen that I knew there was nothing else I would want to do. That happened when I was shooting a movie called "Trick ‘r Treat", I remember it showing me how much fun set can be and what a big family this whole business is when it's at its best. If you were an Avenger, who would you be and why? This may be lame, but I don't have a great understanding of any of their backstories, so I'm slightly out of touch as far as my answer is concerned. I'm going to go with Tony Stark. I'd like to believe I'm as cool as him, but I probably doubt it. What is your favorite dynamic on the show with your character? I love that Murphy has an incredibly different relationship with almost every character on the show. There's so much history between the characters now that there is a ton to draw from. What advice would you give to an aspiring actor/ actress? Make sure you want to do it for the right reasons. If so, my only advice would be to work your ass off, be patient, and be kind. I think that'd be my advice for most things in life. What’s your favorite thing about traveling for cons? Getting to meet people who appreciate what we do for a living, I don't know many jobs that have that perk. But also food, I always try to find the best restaurant and go to it. I'm obsessed with good food.

Madison Iseman is a young american actress from South Carolina. Younger, Madison was offered acting roles which she rejected because she had to finish high school. Her acting career started with roles in some shot films like She Will Be Free and Ticket to the Haunted Mansion. Today, the actress has been featured in several popular movies and television series which include Modern Family where she made a guest appearance as Sam. She made her film debut in 2013 when she played the role of Charity in the family drama movie titled Second Chance.
What can you tell us about your new movie coming on 2018, Goosebumps 2? Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween is a fun adventure comedy based off the books of R.L. Stine. The story follows three characters, Sarah, Sonny, and Sam, as they try to stop halloween from coming to life when they accidentally bring Slappy back to life. Slappy is an evil ventriloquist dummy from the first movie, he is also a recurring character in many of the Goosebumps books.
Tell us a little bit about your character Bethany on "Jumanji, Welcome to the Jungle"? Bethany is your typical "hot girl" cliche. She is obsessed with herself, her phone, and attention. But obviously that all stems from a deeper insecurity thats explored throughout the film when Jack Black takes over the role of Bethany. Deep down all she really wants to be is loved an accepted, but that all buried underneath her fake confidence and instagram.
What are the good and the bad sides as being an actress? There are so many goods to it. Every day at work is fun, you get to constantly be creative. You get to meet new people all the time and travel around the world. The hardest part of it is getting no sleep probably. Also the downside of getting to meet new people is having to say goodbye to people you've grown so close to.
Jumanji is an iconic film. How did you react when you get the role of Bethany? I was so excited. I grew up watching the original Jumanji. I was also extremely excited to work with actors I had been watching for years. The entire experience was pretty surreal.
Do you have new projects coming soon? I just recently wrapped The F-IT List with AwesomenessTV Films alongside Eli Brown. That one was a lot of fun, I'm really excited for it.
What was your best experience as an actress? One of my best experiences as an actress was probably when we got to go to Hawaii for preproduction for Jumanji. The entire week was so surreal. Jack and I got to work one on one on Bethany and we got to meet the entire cast. We also got to hang by the beach, which I definitely wasn't complaining about.
