THINK - Film

The film Left Behind alludes to the belief of the Christian Church that believers in Christ will be snatched out of the world before the great day of the coming of the Lord. The movie started off great with very good acting by the cast of characters, as the story guided us through the series of biblical events that are expected to predate the rapture. I was hoping that the film would show a wider cross-section of persons being taken away and at different times of the day and night. Sections of the film were a bit boring but the pace quickened towards the end. This is the first time I have watched the original Left Behind movie. I prefer this version to the newer version as it is more accurate and focuses more on scripture. I think that everyone should watch this movie at least once, considering what times we are in. I think for many, being able to visualise the end times will really show the urgency to reach out to the lost souls and re-evaluate whether we are right with God. p
